How can you propose to write a guide for a champion that hasn't come out yet? Sure you may have played her a few times on PBE, but that doesn't make anyone an expert. Guides shouldn't be written for a champion that you haven't mastered. I think moba should lock a champion till its been out for 2-3 weeks first.

Basically the reason this doesn't happen is that the admins don't want to drive away traffic when a new champion comes out. If Lissandra is released and Mobafire has zero guides for her, people are going to look elsewhere for ideas on how to play her. While there may be few to no good guides right at the start, it's important to provide people with something to look at.
Voting delay was implemented a while ago, so guides for a new champion can't be voted on until some time (a week or two I think) after their release.

Thanks to Jovy for the sig!
Well, we've found Lagger's first Lissandra victim.
@Lasty
That's wrong. It's more like guides shouldn't be written by people who don't know what their talking about. Like Bronze players on PBE who think they're good because they beat other Bronze players on PBE.
Also, there are a lot of champions you can completely master by 2-3 games (ie Pantheon).

I've played about 300 games on the pbe with her, in both ranked and normals, i know its no live, but at least it will help give people a heads up, no worries though.
and ill leave it to people who read said guide to determine whether or not the information presented is useful.
i believe it is since I've been extensively testing every idiosyncrasy with her, i've never been so devoted to a hero before, ever. i apologize for wanting to share my discoveries with others. before she hit release.

NEVER in all my time playing league have I EVER heard a more false/asinine statement in all my life. That is by far the dumbest thing I've ever heard another human being say in regards to this game. I apologize if you feel like this is rude or unfair, BUT this notion has to be dispelled.
It takes weeks to truly MASTER any champion. It doesn't matter how simple they are mechanically. Mastering a champion is about knowing how much damage you can put out and take at all times. It's impossible to know that without playing hundreds of games with that champion. If you plan to lane that champion add another hundred games on there to learn EVERY possible lane matchup you could face.
DO NOT throw around the word MASTER so lightly. I am Diamond 4 and I haven't mastered a single champion. I used to have a master level of understanding for Yorick and Hecarim but without constant work sadly it goes away.

this, i didn't post this request to be turned into a flame war, i got my answer, and i ask that this thread be closed, sad to see bickering is just as common on this website as it is on lol forums itself.
but on your point, i never claimed i have mastered her and i never claimed that anyone can truely master a hero, but you don't need to master a hero to create a guide for it, especially not the type that i am creating.
