I personally think it is just what she needed, it makes her more interesting. Instead of having a boring passive that no one looks at ever, she now has something which you have to constantly pay attention to do well with her. Exactly what her somewhat, 'boring' laning phase needed.

It will really make her lane presence a lot more influetical and could potentially give her kill potential! Maybe we will see the infamous Janna/ Ashe rise to glory once again?
No one can outtrade a Janna sheilded Ashe crit + volley. That is some insane lane presence.

What do you guys think?

ALSO! What do you think of building Ashe? She scales best with Infinity Edge but she loses out to so many other adc's who buy different items first up. Would Bloodthirster be a better option IF you got ahead early? I jut think that would make Ashe a much bigger threat quicker. However if you get shut down in lane, Infinity Edge would be the most ideal purchase for small skirmishes and late game damage out put.

i don't think its that big a change, all it does is not lose the benefit from auto attacking, and only gives you a crit if you're at max.

its still gonna be pretty worthless for teamfights

She already has teamfights under her belt with her ulti, plus volley.

Am I the only one who thinks this is actually going to help her a ton?

Yup because you clearly don't play Ashe. It's an improvement over her current passive but it becomes less and less influential as the game carries on and early-game it takes ages to stack. The only difference is that instead of watching out for her first hit, you now have to watch out for her Focus hit.

Seems like a big difference but it isn't.

I don't see how it isn't a big change...
It makes her able to trade with other ad carries and actually do well in laning phase.
That first crit in laning phase can win you the whole lane! I don't see how another one when you are both level 2 won't do the same thing...
Start golems, crit for an easy clear.
Go to lane, by level 3 you should have another crit, after engaging at level 2 due to golem exp, you should be able to go for another early trade which again you should win with ease.

I just don't see how this isn't going to help her a ton XD
Maybe I am just blinded by my love of her kite that excels at kiting, but I really wanted a new passive and this seems like it will really help.

Because it only works against dumb people who can't see that her next attack is going to crit.... I know that reading is hard and therefore you make me repeat myself all over again. Hence that would be a good summary. The passive is still gonna be ****, less **** than it is now fair enough, but still ****.

Also, it still only stacks when not attacking for 3 seconds which is Focus' current main issue.

I don't see how this isn't a huge buff. Now she can charge her passive while CSing, her laning phase will be stronger because of its consistency, and the reset scales with crit chance. It makes AD marks even more viable on Ashe and has synergy with Frost Shot + Volley harassment. Higher crit chance means more 'focus' hits, which sounds pretty nice for skirmishes.

Ashe is one of my favorite ADCs so I might just be fawning, but I really like these changes.

You cannot charge it whilst csing, you have to not attack for 3 whole seconds! Like that's just dumb. You're constantly csing and in teamfights constantly attacking so it's not gonna make a whole lot of difference. And what if you actually get that guaranteed crit? People will know and back off so you have to use it to get a creep. Late-game, when you actually have crit chance, the 100% bonus is gonna be way less impactful anyway.

So as I said, it's still ****, less **** but still ****.

I see your point, they back off and force you to 'waste' it but that pressure can also cost them CS. You can effectively coordinate engagements around its proc, making your trades stronger. It makes purchasing Infinity Edge and Phantom Dancer very gold efficient considering the stacks will start higher, thus being even more consistent.

It's a buff, significant? Perhaps so. Is it good now? No. It will still be non-existent. Stacks starting higher doesn't mean anything also, it pretty much nullifies the passive since +100% crit chance is so usless once you're at 55%+ already
