Well he's getting a nerf now anyway :c
Deserved, but still I'll probably play him in normals before hopping into ranked with him again, hadn't even played him all that much before these two ranked games.
No uni next week so hopefully I can get some ranked going.

The good news is I didn't lose a lot of LP and it looks like my MMR is pretty high (I was higher than Gold V and Gold IV teammates), but then again I'm also not gaining much (6 for the win), so even if I do finally get a good spree going it'll take while to get to my promo series... :|
LP: 79
^ I think
Kassadin should win the matchup (because he's kinda broken), however
Orianna certainly didn't play it correctly. The key objective in the matchup for Ori was to gain an advantage early (as big as possible), before Kass hits 6. Combined with a page that has MR quints, you should be able to survive or even win if your advantage is big enough.
However, I checked the player's profile and he doesn't have a runepage like that. He decided to start
Null-Magic Mantle and 2 potions instead, but that's not really a start that allows you to be aggressive early as you lack any sort of mana regen (apart from the flat mana regen seals he used) and you'll go oom quickly if you try to poke a lot. Personally, I'd say a page with magic pen, mana regen (per level or flat doesn't really matter), MR and MR combined with a
Faerie Charm + potions (5 Health, 3 Mana?) start would be my best bet (the
Faerie Charm would obviously be built into
Chalice of Harmony on the first back). Auto attack every time he wants to cs in the early levels, then poke aggressively with spells after a few levels, once they actually deal some damage, and get a cs lead early; that at least should be easy.
128 cs in ~30 minutes is just not enough.
