So wait, you're asking us to magically fix your overheating problem without lowering your settings because "you don't like it"?

Yeah, I'd think some programs might help, such as Game Booster f.e.
Perhaps useful tips on how to make the warm air go away (f.e. something portable that lifts my laptop)

laptops suck dude, buy a computer. I regret my laptop so much.

Sounds like what a friend of mine gets with his desktop, actually. So how about "old computers suck" instead?

Ice, you should be able to find cans of compressed air in computer or hobby shops. One can of the stuff should do enough to clear the dust out of your fan area, even if you're not comfortable with opening up your laptop yourself. In the US compressed air cans are only $5-ish, so it should also be fairly cheap for you.

My posts may be long. If this bothers you, don't read them.

Yeah I've heard about those cans, they cost about 10 euros here. Gonna look into it!

The laymans solution for everything: install a program for it.
Genius.

Hey, I'll admit I'm a noob when it comes to hardware - that's why I asked this question in the first place ;)
I'm willing to learn, as long as it goes in a respectful way.

One good rule to follow is that you never let any programs that aren't absolutely necessary run with your OS(in the background) and just start them when you need them.
Set programs like Skype, Office, Adobe whatever, Steam to not start when you start your PC, or limit the ones that do to as few as possible(i.e: only the ones that matter).

"The Internet: where men are men, women are men, and little girls are the FBI." - ???

Went to msconfig and disabled some programs that I barely use, or can just access with a simple click.

Good tip, thanks!
