I like to think of humanity as a catalyst. we (along with all species, though their degree of contribution varies greatly) are speeding up the NATURAL temperature cycles of the earth. you can not deny this given all the data and just the simple logical arguments involving chemical reactions in the atmosphere and on the earths surface and release of heat not to mention the laws of thermodynamics.
the problem is that everyone uses climate change as a way to benefit their business i.e. the weather channel telling everyone that they are going to die tomorrow because the weather is so extreme: they are called temperature AVERAGES for a reason people! when people start sitting on extremes it dilutes out the truth and causes people to rub each other the wrong way.
no doubt we can curb our personal contribution to the acceleration of the weather cycles but lets not freak out and think the world is ending tomorrow.

Even if it's not caused by man, doesn't mean that we aren't contributing to it.
