It could have been possible, but I doubt it is now. You can plan that kind of stuff while you develop a game, but when it's done, there might be a crazy amount of work to do in order to adapt your game engine.
Botom line: Everything is possible, you just need time and money. And I believe they'd need too much of both.

There would still be issues with double golems and such, though. Even though you can mimic the point of view, the map would remain the same.
Basically, I wouldnt be too fond of purple either even after such "changes" (there are no actual changes, only perception)

They cannot change the map in such a way that is would be balanced while also keeping it "league of legends"
If Riot were to change the position of jungle walls and camps in order to make the game balanced, then the first problem will pop up:
The baron and the dragon will be facing right in front of eachother.
This means if a team can do baron, they get a free dragon aswell and then is able to do lots of other things without wasting any time. People will only have to buy 1 ward to view both the dragon as the baron, and some other stuff like that.
There are some other problems, like pathing n stuff, but it would definately not be a nice change for LoL.

Wtf are you talking about, Meiyjhe? He wants the perspective flipped so he always spawns in the bottom-left and fights towards the top right.

I happened upon a forum post a long time ago about how this could be done, basically mirroring the angles a couple times so top lane is still top. Since the game is rendered in full 3D, its not like changing the angle will ruin anything.
That said, I know there's at least one mod made to do just that, but its always an "at your risk" type of thing.

Exactly Riot isn't fond of mods of any-form, but I do think that there is a mod floating out there for it, I use to hate playing on purple side, then I got use to it, Now I think I prefer playing on purple side now.
