If I guess right here I believe the situation he/she describes is someone constantly trying to talk in clear language while his head is banged against an immovable solid object(a wall I guess?).

While I have no such degree or even something close to it I can imagine the muscles in the tongue might have a hard time or even fail competing against the force of the impact leading to the tongue going where it shouldn't go when someone repeatedly hits your head against concrete with great force while you are using the muscles in your tongue to form words. Like a cow bell hit against a wall. I realize the "chord" of the "thingy" not being a muscle and the force being "provided"(sry) from the other side compared to the tongue.

If the tongue does get moved though, I can see where Veng is coming from. The sound formed would be different than intended, depending on which side of the head was bashed.

I think it all comes down to the amount of force and the point of impact whether or not it was impossible to produce the intended sound. I think it wouldn't be that surprised if control would be lost when the head is hit hard anyways. That brain part in the lower back of the brains(cerebellum ty wikipedia) takes care of fine motorics right?(again, no such degree)

This isn't a call, this is a pure guess only based upon my experience of the time I've spent having a tongue and a head(this is a point of discussion). But if someone would volunteer we can easily test the theory ^^

All in all I think Veng's statement is pretty valid, though it isn't backed up by any degree I dare saying most of the posts in this thread are made by people who don't have a degree related to the topic. Driving license excluded.

Things escalate pretty much always when there's a discussion on opinions on these fora doesn't it? xD

Let's say you're getting your head smashed repeatedly into concrete. There is no way that you would be able to sync HELP repeatedly without interruption.
If he is getting his head smashed, he's going to be putting up a fight.
It'd sound like HE--... sentence interrupted.

The scratches on the back of his head look like gashes from fingernails, presumably from when his head is being grabbed.
What do you think Throat, that those massive gashes were from having his head being repeatedly slammed into concrete? **** no.

Since when does a forensics degree mean common sense is valid?

You know what, I really can't be bothered arguing with you anymore because honestly well I have a life and can't be bothered checking **** so have fun all judging me about my (yes I will admit this) stupid comments, the whole school thing was stupid but me being me I didn't think about what I was saying which is how I got into this mess in the first place so ciao

Oh the irony. Not only the obvious one (being your name), but also the fact that you came back and made an even longer comment after explicitly stating that you couldn't be bothered with this anymore.

Edit: [...] Also I never said it was unrealistic to shoot him, I said accurately and it might have been possible but that is an off chance, I agree that he definitely would've been able to shoot him in the chest, I just doubted the fact that his hand didn't waver and shoot off to the side.

Who says it was an accurate shot? Seriously, you'll need to answer that, because this entire argument hinges on whether it was accurate or not.

Your conclusions are plausible at best and you seem to make all the assumptions you possibly could in most of them. That surprises me greatly if you're actually attending a good science school. Ever heard of something called Ockham's Razor? If you know of it I'm pretty sure you just don't understand the implications of it..

10/10 most plausible argument.

And I want to point out throatslasher, that Veng was in no way aggressive in his comment. There was no need to be so rude.

While Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson march for "justice", George Zimmerman is saving lives.

interesting comments all around. I'll add my two cents though many of them have already been pointed out.

1) the media twisted the entire case into something it never was or will ever be to get ratings so most of what everyone knows about this case is bias and therefore highly likely to be incorrect/inaccurate.

2) once again we prove that the saying of 'innocent until proven guilty' is incorrect. we as a nation have recently adopted 'guilty until proven innocent' and even than apparently we disagree because he was acquitted by a jury of his peers and we still say he is guilty.

3) the prosecution went over their head and tried to get too much for charges against him. they failed to do so. they put 3 witnesses crucial to their case on the stand who blew it making the prosecution look bad and lose any real credibility they had in their argument (the witness came to the stand and contradicted their original statements).

4) the prosecution did such a bad job that the case should have been dismissed before the defense even came into play but the judge wanted to keep the case going to keep the circus in session.

5) for all of you who think that zimmerman couldn't have been killed or reacted incorrectly because 'he was only having his head bashed into the cement'...get together with a friend and let him bash your head into the cement and see how you feel...and yes 17 is plenty old enough to murder a man twice his age..that really has nothing to do with it...I am in my twenties and I know teens that could easily out power me and bash my head into the cement until death.

6) zimmerman was an idiot and should never have followed that kid. that does not mean he did not act in self-defense...it just means he was an idiot to put himself into the situation he found himself within.

7) how many people have continued to call justice for martin after the case has concluded? i have seen articles from congressman calling for justice...I have seen the president suggest justice should be served...these are public servants..how is it okay for them to say that our justice system is incorrect?

8) young african american men died by the dozens in chicago over the course of this case...why no justice for them?

9) he was declared not guilty. that's the end of it. though apparently he is being sued for a hate crime lol that is a whole different story.
