I'd say between anime and cartoon style animation. I really wish it was drawn 100% anime style.

1:54 - 1:58: That was a pretty badass move. Awesome soundtrack btw.

I will watch, looks promising.

The first episode is already out since a few days 3: .

Beware, Ruby(Person featured in the red trailer) gets all her epicness revoked once you hear her voice(which fits her character though).

Started rewatching Gunslinger Girl.

I don't know if the verb "rewatch" can be used here since the last time I watched it was in 2006 :S

Will update about it as soon as I finish first season.

Apparently the manga is quite good.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Not only is that name cringe-worthy at best, but the synopsis sounds lame as ****;

"In the heart of Italy, the Social Welfare Agency rescues young girls from hospital beds and gives them a second chance at life using the latest in cybernetic advancements. With their artificially enhanced bodies, the girls are brainwashed and trained as assassins to carry out the dirty work of the Italian Government. Despite all the modifications, they are still just children at heart, struggling for recognition from those they love, even knowing the love they feel is manufactured. This tragic tale unfolds as these girls grapple with their emotions in an agency that treats them as nothing but ruthless killers."
"Games may not be art, but this one did wonderful things to my ****." - Roger Ebert

"I AM PRETTY SURE THIS MANGA IS VIOLATING SOME LAWS ABOUT CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

I CANNOT GET ENOUGH

****" - mencretnas, on Gigantomakhia

Just saw episode 15 of Shingeki No Kyojin.

It was pretty decent aside from the scene they added in the first half of the episode where they hinted at Erwin not telling people everything.
There's a clear pattern of the anime wanting to make all the foreshadowing more obvious :(

I've got a bit of free time, so here's what I've been watching so far this season, by release date:

Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou is a comedy. It's not very good. Poorly paced and not funny. I dropped it after one episode. I'd steer clear of it unless you have an extremely high tolerance for ****py anime.

Free! has been okay thus far. It's got a large animation budget, and the plot is... Passable. I'm not generally into sports anime, but I'm likely to continue this. Unless it turns into BL. I'm withholding judgement until it's finished.

It's been too long since I last watched any Rozen Maiden, so I'm not really into the new series. I could follow the first episode, still, but it's really not what I'm looking for in an anime right now. I might come back to it when it's finished airing.

Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C³-bu is very amusing. It's a slice of life anime about an airsoft club at an all girls school. It might end up turning into more of a sports anime as things continue, though. Regardless, I wouldn't suggest that anyone start this one unless they're usually into romcom-esque shojou.

Danganronpa is pretty bad, honestly. The pacing isn't very good, the art isn't very good in style or execution, and it really feels like it's written for a fairly young audience. I'm gonna' keep up with it for now, but I don't really expect much from the series. If anyone is interested in the concept, I'd suggest watching Deadman Wonderland instead; it's similar in general idea, even if all the details are different, but executes its concept far better.

Servant x Service is a low-key comedy about civil servants. So far it's been... Plain and consistent. I'm enjoying it, but there's actually nothing in particular that stands out as making it actually worth my time other than that I have time to waste. Watch it as a time filler, but don't expect anything actually good from it.

Love Lab is a romance-related comedy about two girls (not yuri... yet, at least) trying to figure out how to get boys to like them. I've been enjoying it a lot, since its romcom-y silliness is right up my alley, but I wouldn't suggest trying it unless you're generally into romcoms and other shojou anime.

Kiniro Mosaic is also about girls doing things at school. There are two main characters, one of whom is British and the other of whom met the former while visiting England. It's cute, but also nothing special. Again, I'd only recommend getting into it if you're generally into shojou.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya is a mahou shojou anime. I've only watched the first episode so far, so I'm not sure what to think of it yet, but I'm not sure that I'm going to like it that much. Mahou shojou isn't usually my thing, so I can't say whether or not this one is actually good.

I watched the first episode of the new -monogatari, but I'm really just not in the mood for that right now. I'll come back to it later, I'm sure.

Makai Ouji is straight up BL. I couldn't get through the first episode, partially because I don't like BL anime and also partially because it wasn't that good. If there's anyone here who adores BL, give it a shot, I guess, and let me know if it's actually worth getting into.

Watamote! looked like it could be interesting, but after three episodes it doesn't look like it has any idea of how it wants to progress. There doesn't seem to be a plot or plan for character development. Since the main character isn't a very good person, this is a sinker for me. I'm going to end up skipping the rest of the anime, and I recommend that everyone else do the same.

The new season of The World God Only Knows has been a lot of fun thus far. In the first two episodes it certainly took a turn towards the slightly more serious, which made it a weird mix of shonen-y "omg i haf 2 saev peepul" (a bit more directly than in previous seasons) and harem romcom ********. The third episode had the main character act a bit more like the spoiled brat he often is, again, though, so I don't think the change in tone was deliberate. I absolutely recommend it if you watched and enjoyed the previous seasons, but I'd also absolutely suggest steering clear if you don't enjoy harem-style romcoms.

Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku is another comedy, this one with an all female cast. So far, it's been kinda' bad, though not bad enough for me to actually drop. I can't recommend it unless you really need something to fill the time, because other of this season's anime are better as time fillers already.

I haven't gotten to Gin no Saji, Gatchaman Crowds, or Kimi no Iru Machi, but I'm hoping to perhaps get some time to watch them later this week or this weekend. Then I'll post my first impressions based on their first few episodes here as well.

Searz can I ask this:

Would you still call Kyojin anime of the year even though it has been messing up a little, or do you think it's still too early to make conclusion about such a title.

I agree on this, I read the Visual Novel on PSP to it and the Anime is just badly executed, if they would have put the 3 episodes into 4 maybe it would have been a bit different, Storywise it is actually great and has a few nice twists to it but this is not something where you can cut out certain details and put it as a anime and expecting it to be 'good'...and I disliked them trying to put in Gameplay-Elements of the Trial, the way how they have done it is just silly. I really loved the Novel though and will keep up with the Anime so I can hate it even more <3. Yes they really messed up the pacing on this one, as far as Artstyle goes I actually like it because it's different.

Type-Moon is on a roll right now, Fate/Extra CCC, Prism Ilya, Zero, the newly announced Fate-anime and whatnot, I couldn't be bothered to read the manga despite being a big Type-Moon fan(and that goes beyond reading and watching their works) but it actually looks nice thus far and Type-Moon usually doesn't dissapoint...and since the original is from Manga I suppose the anime can't 'mess up' that bad?

I really hope they keep it ad idle comedy, Episode 2 was so ****ing generic ******** I considered stopping, if she starts to become 'popular' or anything I suppose I would also not watch it anymore. I like the interactions with her brother though...and her brother is best character xD.

Also not mentioning anything about Sunday without God? I am not sure what to think of it yet, the explanations sound somehow reasonable but at the same time ********(Universal 'God did it' excuse lolreligion.) and how the maincharacter behaves first is kind of illogical but makes a tad more sense later. Ep3 was also kinda sad and the first 3 episodes in general looked rather like an 'introduction'? Need to watch it a bit more 3:.
