New triforce will allow great kite as well, especially when combined with Furor enchantment. Also, armour is fairly worthless without base health and ezreal's base health is ****; Triforce actually grants health.

so yi has now better synergy with triforce ? i mean 200% ad at the end of alpha, add that with a crit and boom the enemy carry magically disappeared. also irelia would love mallet + triforce XD perma slow plus ms on steroid is so OP.

Yi has like 100 base AD, that is 200 bonus damage hit.
Ravenous Hydra active has 300+ damage, more like 400 damage, so it doesn't beat it.
Infinity Edge adds way more damage to Alpha Strike.
And Youmuu's Ghostblade+ Ravenous Hydra+ Mobility Boots+3x Infinity Edge would deal more damage, while Infinity Edge and Trinity Force have about the same cost.
I would say Trinity Force is rather something if you want to go a tankier build (ala Jax), then you get also more procs out of it which increases its potential. It is the item for Final Yi.

I dont think it nerfs it, I think Nickname was implying that that isnt the only way to play Ez anymore.
And i for one, honestly hate Blue Builds playstyle and itemization. I want to not get yelled at for playing oldschool ez. :[
You can also play a hybrid version of the two, as long as you get a high amount of CDR. The thread name is misleading and stupid; also the two question marks are just idiotic, make up your freaking mind!
Anyway, blue build is revolved around high amounts of CDR and the trinity buff ain't going to make the gauntlet unviable on him; my utility setup allows 40% cdr with just two items. The other four can be whatever you want.
