Hextech Revolver is no longer a viable pick on Katarina, As I will explain why. For 1200g, you get 40 AP and 12% spell vamp. You will need to spam you spells as soon as they come off CD to get any use out of the low base damage from her spells and the low healing potential from the spell vamp. For 860g, you get a Blasting Wand that grants the same AP, for much cheaper, and builds into a Rabadon's Deathcap.

You need some gameplay chapters, like Farming, laning, ganking, warding, etc. List matchups of possible lane opponents, and how she fares against them. The guide is too short!

Facechecking with Death Lotus is an awful idea. Even if you find someone, you will want to save it to burst them down with your combo. Never waste it for something as useless as facechecking. If you need to facecheck, buy wards.

Thank you for this helpful reply, I know it is a short, I just wanted to try to do a guide easy to read fast between game and all, and I don't say to USE Death Lotus on enemy in bushes, I just use it sometimes to be aware that, in example, the enemy jungler is near me, even if I don't see him, so I can react faster if he try to hit me, and yea, Hextech Revolver isn't the best item, but I build it last, and often replace this by other situational items, this guide will need more further testing and improving I know. Why I take Scaling armor for more late game survivability when in team-fight, but I admit if you're against AD mid/jungler, it would be better to take flat one, almost the same thing for Scaling MR. I didn't really take in count the cost of the runes in this guide. I will need to add why take flat or scaling and all. However, ty.

The reason behind my choice of creating a short guide is I didn't really saw any SHORT guide, and sometime you just don't want to take over half an hour to read a guide and just want to have a basic overview of how to play a champion.

Decent setup I would say, But personally I wouldn't go for armour seals, It's best to go health per lv seals. Also movement speed quintences are excellent on her with glyphs per lv, makes you a decent roamer.

I must admit I never tried movement speed quintessences (or any runes at all), but maybe I must try it, but I don't always love the health per level over armor/MR. Why? because it don't negate percent damage, I know must people say health is better because it protect you from AD, AP and true damage but I don't see it that way, because most active on items are percent health (max or current), like Blade of the Ruined King or Deathfire Grasp. Also enemies like Dr. Mundo can be annoying with percent health (I don't you should see any Mundo mid, if you do, tell me lol), but against Ahri, wich her Q deal true damage, you should go with health, it always depend of which Champions are on the enemy team (if you play draft or ranked).

I like your guide, giving you +1

Personally I wouldn't go hextech revolver mainly because Katarina doesn't exactly need sustain in lane, her job is to

destroy low or half health champions in quick succession and destroy everyone. it's a good guide, Your playstyle is understandable I just have a different way of playing her :D

You can check my own guide of katarina if you want, maybe it will help you understand the champion better. I'm not saying you're bad or anything! ;3
