I had a slump right after I failed my diamond series. Two of my main junglers got nerfed, the jungle meta started shifting and I just couldn't make it work anymore. Fell all the way to the bottom of plat 3. That sucked.
But slumps are impossible to avoid since they will happen due to you performing bad or due to your teammates performing awful
Losing because your teammates are bad is not a slump. A slump is when your personal performance drops and you play consistently poorly for an extended period. You might get a loss streak from some games with bad teammates, but that's not the same as a slump.

When I lost tose 17+ games was firstly due to teammates, but then I started performing really bad because of my mood and self-esteem.
Okay, that makes a little more sense. People usually call this "going on tilt" but it's pretty similar to a slump so I get what you're trying to say.

The hardest part about it all is recognizing you're in a slump so you can actually work on getting out of it, rather than trying to grind out games and just losing more and more
