I think the text looks fine, but if you're unhappy with the clipping mask maybe try using a gradient instead?

Don't want to discourage you guys from making signatures or anything, but you are spamming this thread pretty hard asking for comments and criticism and not returning the favour. If you post here and ask for feedback, it's only fair if you actually provide feedback to the other people posting here.
