Hey, this is an AMA, but nowhere in 'Ask Me Anything' does it say that I will respond to the questions.
So ask away ;)

I made this thread with the sole intent of mocking those who already made such threads.

Tree fiddy.

Eeeeh, I might as well answer questions when I have a thread about it. I'm satisfied with the mocking portion of it by now.

NOPE

What do you want to be when you grow up? XD
Game dev, interface designer, story writer of some sort or techie of some sort.

If you had unlimited funds...what specs/parts would you use to build a desktop?
I'd stack up server grade gear like Xeon processors and Titan processing units. 128GB of RAM or so. 10 1TB SSDs in a raid 5 array.
That'd prolly do.

Best anime of all time is?
Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan.
Nah, just kidding.
Tough call. Not sure I can answer, but my favorite is Nichijou.

Best manga of all time is?
A split between Berserk and Shingeki No Kyojin.

If you could visit anywhere in the world where would it be?
Not sure. I'm perfectly happy not traveling. It's not that I don't wanna get out, I just hate traveling..

What is the square root of negative 1?

Please describe the steps and components required to perform an ELISA?
Nope.

If you still has enough funds after the desktop, what game type would you like to write/design/write story for?

Ooooh, great question :)
I have had a couple of ideas regarding stories, but none I can remember now. I distinctly remember having some really cool and interesting dreams, but the contents of said dreams escape me :/

I do however have a few ideas for games that I wanna make.

A fast racing game in the vein of F-Zero that revolves around a primary mechanic of sliding. That you could press a button to purposefully loosen your grip to the track, turn the way you want to and then instantly gripping the track again when you release it.
No, not in the style of the sliding/skidding in Mario Cart, this is meant to suspend you while keeping your momentum and allowing you to turn in any direction you'd like. It's important that the resulting burst of momentum at the end of the slide is properly affected by your previous momentum.
That could make for some really interesting track dynamics. I felt like that was something that F-Zero was really missing.
I'd obviously also want great and interesting track designs like the way F-Zero GX did them.
Visually I was envisioning something fairly simple, a la' Geometry Wars style(only in 3D with an overhead camera ofc).
Another fun addition would be to make the fire/jet exhaust stuff that comes out at the end pump to the music(only as a visual effect).

One other idea I've got is a turn-based strategy game with focus on smaller squads like the way X-COM did it. But in 2D rather than 3D and I'd optimize it for use on touchscreen devices(TBS games are perfect for mobile devices).
I would very much like to build the game so that it doesn't have any of the big problems that X-COM has.
The game will not have a single game mechanic reliant on chance (if you've played X-COM you know how ******ed things can get..).
The game will have less focus on powerful defensive abilities like for example the Overwatch in X-COM. The strength of cover might also be reduced compared to other titles. With a bigger focus on the attacking side of things you will be encouraged to move around and get the drop on your enemy rather than to hunker down a la' every-turn-based-game-ever style.
There will also be CLEAR indications of which areas your cover will be protecting you from and which it will not.
The game will have enemies moving around, taking cover and even attacking you, regardless of whether you can see them or not.
I would like a focus on scouting in this game, making certain team members extra important for the rest of your squad.
I'm not sure whether it's best to go with hex or square-based movement yet.
For a visual style was I thinking fairly cute monsters.

I've had my thoughts set on some ideas for psuedo-random systems that could be used in perma-death games (or Rogue-likes as everybody likes to call them).
Because as everybody who has played FTL, The Pit and such games knows: they can **** you over so hard, entirely because chance. I'm not sure if everyone else feels the same way, but personally I feel cheated when I lose to some random ********. I just feels really cheap.
I haven't gotten as far as having any actual concept ideas for the game though.

I'm also a huge fan of precision platformers like Super Meat Boy and Electronic Super Joy(Dust Force is also a game like that, but I honestly didn't quite like Dust Force..).
I would like to put a twist on that whole premise of precision platformers by focusing on more analogue shapes and movement rather than the clearly square shapes often employed in such games.
I would to tweak it so that the game has roughly the same level of difficulty as other titles in the genre, but with a larger margin of error in overall timing with more emphasis put on directionally precise movement.
Such a game would likely require a controller to play.

I've also got this tiny idea of a game set in the snowy wastes of an unnamed place(not important where, I'll probably make it fictional) The state of technology will be be that of maybe the nineteen hundreds or so.
It will be a story-driven experience where your wife isn't feeling very good during the harshest months of the year and your food is running short. There may or may not be a son involved, I'm not sure. There also may or may not be several seasons (years) to play through, I might just focus it on one harsh winter.
The situation forces you to go to great lengths to actually survive and keep your wife/family alive, and the nearest settlement will be far, far away.
There needs to be a real sense of emptiness and loneliness present throughout, even in the sequences with your wife/family or others. And of course there needs to be the occasional sense of dread. In essence: I'd like to create a very dark game.
VERY few words will be spoken throughout the game and there will be no HUD what-so-ever. I haven't figured out a clever way of handling the main menu though.
This title would require some fairly significant funding so that I would be able to make a pretty game. It will be somewhat stylized, but the look I have envisioned is that of a high-fidelity title with some very nice particle effects during snow-storms and such.

So there you have it; a few ideas :D

Eh, it was a funnier response.
