Both Kinen and Nayaad are randomly thought up names chosen because they are phonetically pleasing to me. Before name change, my IGN was MaeradNoondancer, which was the name of my main and priest in WoW, and the most annoying character to try and RP (she's gone through so many iterations and I'm still not happy with her :/ ). The etymology of her name is mixed. Maerad is the name of the protagonist of Alison Croggon's Pellinor series (one of my favourites), Noondancer is a typically blood elven surname chosen for its phonetic quality and the pleasing imagery. I still use Noondancer as an alias in some places (notably Dawngate). I still respond to Maerad and Mae as surely as if they were my own name.
Actually, most of my internet monikers first found life as RP characters on WoW. I sometimes use Weide or Weidenholz as my steam name, after my character Wilhelmina von Weidenholz. Originally she was inspired a little from Willow Rosenburg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) although her ultimate character design bares no resemblance (bar hair colour and often cut), hence why I chose Weide, then stuck the nholz on the end for rhythm and for a little deceptive trickery.
