I've been watching Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom. It found it quite nice. It's hard to talk about the plot without revealing anything, so I guess I just won't :) If you're into dark themes I think you will enjoy this. It gets more and more psychological though, so I wouldn't recommend it just for the fights. Actually the story progresses like an ancient(classic? How do you call this?) Greek tragedy, and there are some references to this in the story. It might be more enjoyable if you know some basic things about the flow of such a play. It's not worth watching just for that though.

I watched Phantom: Requiem for Phantom when I was on my Darker Than Black trip, and they both were worth it.
But yeah the new Monogatari Season is way better than the Nisemonogatari Season and it really keeps up with the quality of Bakemonogatari :D

Haha, I also watched this because I liked DtB. Did you also watch the second season of DtB? I'm wondering if it's worth the watch with all those negative reviews I read.

Finished Deadman Wonderland and Eve no Jikan
Deadman Wonderland turned out to be pretty meh. I really liked the concept but it was way too shonen-ish. Shiro as a character was amazing though.
I mean if only it had Darker than Black's atmosphere, with grown up characters and a more serious theme, it would have been a blast.
On the other hand Eve no Jikan (Time of Eve) was pretty good! For once the MAL rating was spot on.
I really enjoyed watching it. I liked the idea, the characters, the comedy, the feels and especially how solid it was for a 6 episode 15 min each ONA.
I'd pretty much recommend it for anyone who is an anime amateur looking for some variety instead of the usual stuff.
