I recommend that Udyr has a Ruby sightstone in his build, because the support champions are mostly depended on by the rest of the team for ward placement and map vision.

Hello, I can see some people are trolling you, and while quite humerous I must admit, I would like to help you improve your guide. Although I dont agree with taking Clarity, it is personal preference, and jinx is somewhat mana hungry. I find this guide unique because you are making it for a bot lane combo, which broadens your audience. I dont agree with Zeke's Herald at all. While it gives you some lifesteal, your a support. Also, you are talking about supporting early game, but then get boots as a first item, I dont understand that either. Another thing is it seems like you are trying to transition into a bruiser late game, and that leaves your team with no support for late game. Why is this strong? Im just letting you know some of the stuff going through my mind while reading this. I post the questions because I want you to focus on answering these things for me. You clearly think boots is a good start on a support, but WHY?

I hope I helped you out a little, just giving you some ideas and things to think about when you decide to edit your guide. If I helped in any way, plz give a +rep above. Also, plz check out my Gragas guide and let me know what you think about it! Same as you, that is my first guide.

Clarity can be quite useful; despite it's intended use it may just come in handy with the right placement if anything.

Actually, it just means you're **** at managing mana and need to improve at the game.

That doesn't automatically discount out of use because most people take say Exhaust more then anything else.

It's not discounted because everyone takes Exhaust. Everyone else takes Exhaust (or Ignite) because Clarity is ****.

As a mainly support player, I rejoice when I see unorthodox spells like Clairvoyance which if used right, would easily turn the tide of the game.

As a mainly support player for the past 3 years, I despair to see **** like Clairvoyance picked. Map awareness is important, but a choice between improving kill-potential in comparison? Kill potential 100% of the time. Wards are enough for map vision and if it's not, a Clairvoyance barely helps. Meanwhile, double-killed in botlane.

it's all about placement and use, so don't just knock off a spell just because 'you' don't see the utility of it. (it's like saying every adc should always get doran's when clearly some start with a long sword instead or the one adc that starts with boots rather at this point.)

Lolwut? Okay, if it's about placement and use, how about 'no one (worth listening to) uses Clarity in any place ever'? The Long Sword vs Doran's Blade argument is also a completely different matter, since their effectiveness is still SIMILAR. Between Clairvoyance/ Clarity and Exhaust/ Ignite, the effectiveness is VASTLY different.

*Gets killed when Exhaust might have saved you.* - 'Gee, at least I wasn't oom.'

*ADC gets killed in a trade-off because he got Exhausted whilst the enemy ADC didn't.* - 'At least we can see them doing dragon.'

Get rid of Clarity and zeke's herald
Wasting CDR like an idiot, get locket over zeke's...
I won't auto downvote just for Udyr support, it's a meh support better than some. But I will downvote for guide quality, items, spells, skill sequence, and masteries.
Btw its W > E > Q > R
Turn on C2V

Lol.

Udyr support is ****ing terrible and to make it even better, you come up with a ****ty item build, ****ty summoners, skill order and masteries. I don't even know where to start.

Udyr has nothing that makes him a good support. His CC is quite weak considering he needs to get into melee range (with support gold that will result in you dying before you even get to your target), while in lane you will simply be ignored cause you're not building any damage output. Also, you're easily outpoked since you don't get any potions or sustain items early on.

And yes, sirell is completely right. Clarity is never an option and especially not on udyr. Get exhaust instead lol so you can at least close a gap once.

TLDR: Everything sucks balls. Do yourself a favor and get level 30 first.

In any case, this seems like an interesting in-progress guide so I do hope you test it out in many, many situations.

You're welcome for the downvote.

Clarity is NOT an option EVER. That you have it in the guide clearly shows you are already not in a position to be writing guides. Clarity was intended by Riot to be a way for pre-level 30 players to get to grips with mana management due to the lack of runes and masteries.

To answer your unasked question, yes, I am trolling you. But it's obvious that you don't know how to play the game just yet, so there's no point criticizing the guide. You should probably use guides rather than write them. And I think the Diamond player in the second post agrees with me.

Incidentally, congratulations on being the first one to be downvoted by me for Clarity in about 6 months.

@Sirell
I hate to say it, but I'm afraid that you are only coming across as a troll. I clearly state in the guide that clarity OR exhaust may be used. Your 'downvote' helps me not at all, contributes nothing positive, and further shows that you lack the perspective of understanding the theorem I am trying to create. Thank you for nothing, quite frankly.

@Vynertie
Well... Thank you for not... pointing out something in error... I guess...? But at the same time, again, does not help very much. What EXACTLY is 'no'? This is the concept I am presenting, of an Udyr who supports an ADC and eventually becomes a bruiser. If you have anything else to add specifically to help me with this, please let me know, but otherwise it is largely derogatory and bluntly is useless, it's all useless. Thanks for nothing as well.

In other news - Changes made: I realized that I had placed 'boots of swiftness' instead of 'boots of speed' in one instance, so I changed that to the correct item. Also did some general coloring fixes.

Still experimental, and if anyone else has anything else to say or wants to discourage my effort, at least give a sensible reason why. Otherwise, you are simply creating smoke that I have already overcome in the first place that led to me making this.
