My team usually runs a pick comp with Elise, Varus, Zyra, Ahri and Nasus or something. All you need for a decent pick comp is some CC and mobility on most of your team. Having some good duelists in there is good too.
Siege comps require poke and waveclear. They also usually need some sort of disengage so you can stay in front of an enemy turret without getting engaged on. A good siege comp might be Dr. Mundo, Elise, Ziggs, Jinx and Karma.
