I used to play a lot of top lane but I personally can't stand the current popular champions there! Mundo, Shyvana, and Nasus are really strong but you basically sit top for a good 20-30minutes, farm up and then become unkillable while being able to chunk their carries. They don't have a lot of kill potential early game either so it usually turns into a farm/push fest.

Wut? So you would find it boring if you play Yi at high elo? Where only a split of a second decides between pentakill or fail?
too bad no one plays yi at a high elo except for like darkpercy

Only semi-viable way to play him is AP, which still sucks pretty hard unless you really really want to counter

Theme makes no sense considering he's carrying a huge*** AXE.
Entire playstyle literally consists of: raise shield. Wait. Stun. Pop shield. Walk away. Rinse and repeat. Add

One of the only champions who can have their damage go from ~500 to 0 because his shield popped.
His abilities don't even look particularly impressive. Q is this weird barely visible blue flying thing. W is so bland they recycled the effect (I think?) for face of the mountain active.
And his model/animations look like *** on top of that.
I have to agree with the many people on here who voted for
Nasus. Sitting in top lane and just farming Q gets very old very fast. He isn't a champion that can make crazy plays, unlike many of the assassin style champs I usually play. He does his job very very well, but that job is just extremely boring.
