Lee Sin has always been a strong pick. Certainly not must pick/ban, but always a safe & strong pick.
Also, i think vi has always been a nice pick.
Same with elise, although it was strange how she gradually shifted from being top laner, to jungler.
The last two champions are definitely newer though. They haven't been around as long to see the game change

Considering they nerfed the **** out of her ranged form harass and put most of her power in spider form, it actually makes a lot of sense.
She also fits the whole duelist/ganking jungler meta much better than the tank top lane meta.

Renekton been strong picks since s2.
Rumble even with nerfs i still think been consistently top tier.
Thresh since he came out after what seems like 20 nerfs still top tier support
Udyr i find no matter where meta is he has been quite strong in jungle or any where
