Are you actually saying that the best thing for your team if it happens is having an AFK kogmaw?
xD
Btw, cool guide, but i would like to see some tips while laning against draven.
the guide shows pics of 9 defense masteries to choose while in the text, it says to use utility. which is better?
if utility, could the selection be updated plz?
defensive: MR
offensive: AP, Mana Regen for ult poke, CDR
Couldn't hurt to discuss the viability of it and either negate or implement it.
Well, what happens with Kog'Maw? Well 30 AD, when a bit of critical and speed attack are welcome, it is just too costly for that. And the other things it does gives are not that useful at all and most important: they are absolute useless on laning phase, so, you can't build Trinity on laning or you lose. Well, you can buy it later, right...? Nope, you need to scale your autoattacks or you aren't going to carry any match anytime soon.
30+ AP? With 100, you scale your W, that is good, but we aren't scaling that much AP. Useless.
200+ mana? More ultimate harass, but 400 coins for 2-3 ultimates aren't just worth. Useless.
Movement boost on attack and general? Not useless, but not revelant. Kog'Maw is just too bad at pursuiting or escaping that any movement boost will not change the overcome at all. An early Phage my come handy to play an agressive lane, but Kog'Maw is bad at being agressive at laning to start with.
The 200% passive? Useless, you are just doing an extra critical on your first strike when you activate your W, and that is all, if you cast another thing when they are at the range of your autoattack, you're just losing a lot of damage. Any other item will make you do more damage for less.
If you don't start
Well for adc's that use a lot of mana like Kog'Maw you could start with boots, 2 health pots and 2 mana pots right? Then you can stay longer in lane without running out of mana.
do you think a bloodthirster would work well on kog??
No. Typically on long range champions it is much more effective to build an IE to take advantage of how many autos they can get in from range.
