ive never bought any packs. I did buy an arena run once to get the golden gelmatorque. i have 300-400 match wins so i assume double that 600-800 matches played. with maybe 150 or so in arena
And you have ALL the legendaries in the game?

How useful is the card exactly ? - I thought about building a rogue deck around it.
Well first off you need a direct link to the image, not a link to a page with the image.
It's not a very useful card. I've tried having fun with it but it just kinda doesn't work..
For the same reason Ogre Magi is bad really. It's hard to play spells on the same turn as you play them. Several classes don't have any 1-cost spell damage cards and even as Rogue you only have two/three spells that you can play on the same turn as Malygos (Backstab and Preparation.. and Sinister Strike I guess, but that's a bit sketchy).
If you give your enemy time to deal with your threat the chance of you pulling off a combo will decrease significantly. Not to mention how hard it is to pull off a combo when you need one card to combo with 1 of 4 possible cards.
Bloodmage Thalnos and Kobold Geomancer are good simply because they're very easy to combo with spells for the extra damage. Thalnos is especially good because he also cycles(so he's useful even without spells). He's without doubt the best spell power minion in the game.
Azure Drake is another great spell power card, but it isn't good because of the spell power. It's a 4/4 for 5 that draws a card. The spell power is just a bonus.

searz yep. ive been lucky with packs
Yeah no, that is beyond lucky. That is ****ing insane. You've opened less than half the packs I've opened and you have gotten more than 3 times the legendaries I have.

Malygos seems pretty interesting in a Warlock Deck (Summoning Portal), Druid Deck (Innervate can bring him out early) and Mage (Spell Damage ftw).
There's obviously a serious issue as you pointed out Searz but then again he has decent stats and on mages he's pretty much a win condition. Can also try to work with Sorcerer's Apprentice. All in all, I don't think he's terrible but not great either.

Finally got around to downloading the game. Still getting to grips with it, but it's pretty fun and good for some quick time killing.

Gimme a holler and I'll copy-paste my post for beginners on what to think about (beyond the obvious) and a few almost free decks to play with.

Mage decks FTW.
Especially considering you got Pyroblast in literally the same pack.
No, not really.
And low-cost spells are far more effective to combo with the spellpower than a Pyroblast is. It should be pretty obvious, but it gives 5 extra damage per spell, making quantity more important than damage.

Summoning Portal is not a good card. Far too easily dealt with and should not be ran just for the combo with big minions.
One needs to summon at least 3 minions for it to be worth the cost of admission (saving 6 mana) but even then you're paying a card for a 2 mana boost, which is what Innervate does without any setup.
There are just better win-conditions to play. Malygos does not have a place in competitive play right now, regardless of class.
