To be honest, I'd like there to be a difference of opinions in diamond players. I think it's good that they occassionally disagree, as it lets non diamond players see different viewpoints of an argument, along with the points diamond players make to rectify their points

Ok here's a good question, Vision Wards. How often do you buy them and where is the best places to put them? (early-mid game, bot lane specific) :p

Did some research and the radius on his shield's slow is 600 so assuming that if you get hit by the slow, you'll be counted as a "nearby enemy" so I think its safe to call it 600.

According to Lolwiki, the range of his shield is actually 300

Mid-late game, I think all roles should try to have a pink ward on the map as much as possible. It doesn't cost you much gold and can pay for itself many times over with the vision and true sight each ward provides. Pinks also don't count towards the stealth ward cap so you'll find your team has a lot better vision control with 3-5 pinks down.

As jungle or mid -- very early. My mid laner and I started buying pink wards on our first backs (or when I play warwick, at level 1) and gaining vision on both sides of the river (small dot-brush usually, but sometimes the brush closer to allied blue buff or wraith camp). You'd be surprised how long those things can last if you're not seen placing the ward.

Top lane I'd only buy an early pink on purple side if your champion can control the tribush. Not only do you get permanent vision behind you to prevent dives or roundabout gank paths, but your jungler can camp the tribush without worrying about being spotted.

Bot lane, I'd buy a pink on the first back on blue side to control the tribush, but otherwise I'd probably just get one when my jungler's planning on contesting dragon. Bot laners can pretty safely clear any pink except if you're blue side and the pink is in tribush. I've had a pink in the river bush before as purple side but it's riskier since it's easier for blue side to clear if they can push up to your tower.

General placement: River wards are the best balance of risk versus potential reward as long as you can hide them in bushes. You can place pinks closer to your side of the jungle (the two bushes near your wraiths are pretty good, same with whichever tribush your team controls) to keep them a little safer and prevent deep invades, warding or backdoor ganks into the side lanes. I'd only place a pink in the enemy jungle if my team had map control (past first tier towers) or I was invading a buff.
Thanks to Lugignaf for the sig!

@Utopus

It all depends on the questions you ask. If people keep asking very simple questions that won't happen :>

@OTG

I don't use vision wards as much but I often grab red trinkets quite early on instead. I generally grab them when I'm trying to force something (generally dragon/baron) but it's probably good to try to always have a couple of pinks on the map.

Hello,

My question is, how to get a high creepscore during the game.
As spectating a match i notice how higher elo players barely miss a minion.
Is there some kind of trick for where to pay attention or something?

Thankyou,

When i support, i have several flaws in my gameplay, but one of them that i can never seem to quite grasp is when the safest time to ward is. It seems like whenever i try to get vision on certain areas that need vision, i get caught and die in the process of warding.

For instance, if my team is behind, i find myself dying around twice per game just trying to ward my own jungle. As a diamond player, what do you guys do to get vision on key areas, safely

It's literally just practice. Lots and lots of practice.

It's something that comes with pratice. You just need to focus and get used to the attack animation of the champion (if you know attack animations well enough you'll also get to time better). Try to go in a custom game and try to get 100 cs in 12 minutes, and once you can hit that in custom games, go and try it in normals.

You need to ward up as far as is safe. If you don't have vision of the enemy, you can't go deep to ward. We just try to go a save way and then sneak a ward in. For example, if you're blue side and you don't have river vision at all but you want to ward the dragon, just try to sneak a ward in the pit instead of trying to get the river itself warded.

@MFEUW: There isn't really a trick. you just get used to it over time. It's like an elementary student doing multiplication. When they first start they get overwhelmed by the 9x9 chart, but gradually, as they do more questions it becomes second nature.

@utopus: First of all, to ward properly you need to grow a sense of danger. Mid-late game, you should be able to tell from rotations where the enemies could potentially be. For example, if they tried to siege a tower but were very low and backed off, it's highly likely that the enemies went back completely. Even if they didn't and were camping for some odd reason, you should stay in a certain range of your teammates so they can aid you in time. Just don't take too many risks warding.
