Yeah, but BOTH teams deal terribly with split pushing in bronze. A couple of weeks ago I tried to smurf in bronze with a "split push only" policy, and every time the enemy team came top/bot to try and shut me down, my team would ignore the open tower and run top to make a teamfight of it; NOT what they're meant to do when they have a split pusher on their team. I gave up within 5 games when I went 2/3 having been stupidly fed each game. Even in plat when I try to split push, my teams all too painfully often respond incorrectly to my split pushing, and it ends up being detrimental rather than helpful. Split pushing only consistently works at higher Elos, at low Elos it's like playing Russian Roulette, with the odds stacked against you.

Hm, I guess that could happen? I only really splitpushed with jungle Shaco and I'm always so mobile and making a point of avoiding fights unless a random moron tries to 1v1 me so I didn't have that issue. But yeah, that could happen, or team stupidily going 4v5 instead of holding. So far, however, I had no issues.

Another "beat bronze" tip is mastering one or two high kill potential champs and snowballing. Bronzes cannot deal with someone snowballing, usually becoming disheartened or downright raging their faces off.

Hello what happened to me 9/10

Instead of taking advantage of it, it's '**** come here with us' 'what the hell are you doing?' 'r u stoopid' and the like. Even after explaining.

It worked for me majorly because I made myself a threat. Killing other people there makes them want to kill you. The "killing spree" bill makes you sexy I wager

Champion counters do work if you know how you take advantage of it.

what Joxuu said.

But good tier lists always assume that both players are of equal skill. So if someone has played Jax Tryndamere or Darius a 1000 times, or they just know how their champion works they should be able to easily defeat a first time Teemo who just picked him because Champion Select said so. However lets say a good to average Teemo will always beat a great Jax Tryndamere or Darius player assuming they know what makes Teemo a hard counter against those Champions.

To be honest I have to admit I don't truly believe "Counter Pick" really can exist.
I mean I have played for over a year and probably played in 1000 or so games and in that time I have not ONCE played against an "Equal" if that makes sense.
I have either been better to which it wouldn't matter if they had a counter pick on me or they have been better and it wouldn't have matter if I had a counter pick or not.

The game isn't just about the lane phase, and there can be "equals" or similar skilled players where one's pick had the advantage over the other. Furthermore, shutting down a champ through selection can make the fact that the other player is better if, even after shutting them down, they still manage to get back in the game and make plays through teamfighting.

There are also players who excell at going 1 on 1 but cannot coordinate with a team.
Thank you Tsuki for the sig!

Everything that could be said has been said.

Essentially counter picks do not work from bronze to gold because players don't have the mechanics, knowledge, or a combination of both to abuse the counter pick. Which is why you still see Blitz banned at bronze, but never banned at any other level.
