Hi, i main trundle since season 3.
I read your guide and it's good. But i wonder some : why don't take one point in "expose weakness" ? As a jungler, every Q you do increase team damage by 1%, that's clearly better than "double-edged sword". Don't you think ?
Then, why chose "Recovery" rather than "enchanted armor" ?

I do not care much for the Quill Coat, but the Spirit of the Ancient Golem is still the best jungle item for Trundle, besides the Feral Flare. The passive armor and sapping barbs help sustain more in the jungle, and it even grants a ward as a bonus. I shall update my guide more when the summoner's rift update hits live. (doing a lot of changes to make sure it's all up-to-date).

What is your view of the Quill Coat on Trundle now? Many junglers have switched to elder lizard and wraith because of the change.

Thanks for your input! He is rather item dependent since his base stats are rather low, so he can't get very tanky without items. I know he scales off whoever he targets with Subjugate, but it won't help him hit any harder, so if you have no damage you will still hit like a wet noodle.

He has no hard CC, his Q only slows for 0.1 seconds, and E only slows if they stay in the AOE. He has no stuns, snares, or anything like that.

I have not personally tested Feral Flare on Trundle yet, but I feel that it is not that great. It requires you to give up some tankiness and spend more time farming the jungle then it does helping your team secure objectives. Feral Flare is much better for champions that can clear the jungle insanely quick and then snowball enemy champions with their high mobility and damage-based kits (like Master Yi and Nocturne).

Nice guide! I haven't had a chance to completely comb through it, but right off the bat I'd say your 'cons' need some adjusting.
Firstly, Trundle isn't all that item dependent, for two reasons:
1) He only has 2 skills that actually scale at all w/ items
2) His ult pretty much makes him scale off the enemy tank's items.
Secondly, hedoes not lack cc. His Q slows, his w speeds him up (which can be considered cc and is very useful in ganks) and his e slows and can completely inhbiit enemy movement.
But overall very good guide!
I'd also like to know your opinion on FF trundle?

It works off her total mr and armor. Makes you gain more if she has just used her eclipse. Also works on champs like Jax when he ults, or Olaf before he ults (cause he loses the bonus mr/armor when he ults). Makes targeting champs like shyvana with tons of passive stats more worthwhile.

Nice guide, and thanks. I do have a question about Trundle's ult. If I subjugate a Leona that has just cast her Eclipse, do I get her additional MR/Armor as well? Or does Subjugate only work on base stats+items?
