I'm a million times better than the obviously bronze players in my and the enemy team but no matter how good I play I can't carry them.

There's a shifting point where doing this is suboptimal unless you get fed early fast - at higher levels of play. But at lowers, it's all about the "carry it yourself" deal, unfortunately. Plus, both champs deal surprising amounts of damage if full ap versus players who don't pay a lot of attention and they got some cool kiting potential at elos where people chase for years and have hard times dodging skillshots
