Achievements and victorious feelings are like a drug to our brain, making us feel good when we make plays, kill enemies, win and overall feel like we're beating the game. Paired with fun players capable of making me laugh (be it via TS or chat) is what makes this fun.
Unfun is how the pc being connected through the internet can bring lots of random issues, like players getting dc issues or random lags (or even power outages) or the occasional ****ty ingame attitude.
I also get a thrill out of being a douchebag. Never bannable or actually mean/insulting, but boarderline nasty and provocative :3

I love LoL because it feels wonderful to be part of it. When I watched and listened to Warriors for the first time with Patch and Warlemming beside me, all set to watch Worlds the same way a bunch of Aussies would be set to watch State of Origin...
It was amazing. It sent shivers down my spine and raised goosebumps. I would even go as far as to say at the end I felt such an intense pride that the corners of my eyes pricked and I blinked back tears.
I love LoL because of the friends I've made over the years, some in-game that transferred to OCE so I continued to keep playing with them, and the rest through MobaFire who have always been there for me whenever I truly needed it.
I love LoL because even though it frustrates me to lose, or to play badly, or play the worst on the team, I am always eager to improve, I come back wanting to get better, and every mistake motivates me to play again until that mistake is overcome.
LoL is simply something I don't see myself ever giving up =) And you never give up on things you love ^^

The community, because despite the constant accounts of toxicity, there's just as many of people goofing around. There's been some hilarious conversations and banter in my chat.
The strategy also gets to me. I don't know why, but every new one I pick up, I enjoy the game a little more.

I agree, I used to and still do think this game is casual garbage, but all my friends play it and I made a lot of friends in the community too, so I still play it. Also, this game is one of the better communities in gaming I've seen. Even with the bad reputation LoL gets, its still better than almost all MMOs and shooters. I'd say its comparable to the quality of Runescape in the 06-07 era.
