lol I just watched the patch preview video and the way morello talks about the urgot lockon missle range increase just made me laugh. It's like he's trying to make us believe that low/mid ELO players who have played Urgot and against him didn't know getting a lock on increased his missle range.

Sure, "fixing a bug". Probably a excuse to nerf him because of QQ from the forums. His Acid Hunter is his main damage source, or should I say only. He needs the long range for his Q to hit in order to harass early game, which is when Urgot shines the most. It's because of the kills he gets early game that sustains him later in the game where he gets "forced" into a tank role due to the lack of damage. It's just like Rammus. People don't know a champion's true potential until they meet a person who plays them right. And then they QQ about them and go to the forums and just spam treads. Not to mention, it is very hard to keep control of Urgot while trying to hit all of the Q he throws. Without his E, which allows Urgot to lock on targets, it is very hard to actually hit the target in higher styles of play. Which costs him more mana, and same items almost every single game.
well he pretty much sucks ... he needs that range that one thing which gives him an adavantage i said if you take his range give the dude more damage

I'll take range>damage any day. Range allows you to harass more effectively and not allow the enemies to farm up and get exp.

Seriously. And 350 range. THAT IS RIDICULOUSLY LONG! Even if the damage were nerfed 350 range at low levels/early game is soo critical. Hell melee range is painful early game. I personally think that it'd be pretty dumb of Riot to leave the bug in the game and just nerf the damage. Unless the damage scales negatively.

Riot is performing shadow buffs/nerfs in the form of "bug fixes" to reduce the amount of QQ from the community.
Example: Anivia's
Who knows how many champions have been buffed/nerfed through "bug fixes".
