Music taste/ why listening to music in general?

Listening to music is an experience, you are listening to someone else's story and this is what I think gives music the ability to incite emotional responses in so many people, even if it isn't a song that you grew up with or was a former partner and your's song.Also it's things like that that make music so special to me, it's that I remember the times I was going through when I first listened to a certain song or maybe the day/week that it was the only song that I listened to (It happens a lot XD). I create memories with music, I feel for music,and I cannot be myself without music. Rant over. Tl;dr I like a bunch of music and i'm a musician and i got into some philosophical/sciency stuff about it Aka music is love, music is life[/quote]
