So you are looking for an anime where the Hero and Heroine actually get together with no ****ty ****block everytime a developement is going to happen?
Damn, that's pretty rare and I can't really think of any right now, but if you guys have something to offer, I am all ears :D

Well, there's Makoto Shinkai movies, but I believe you've seen those.
The moment a religious person unknowingly calls his own ways stupid: "And lol. I highly doubt you have magic powers. If you proved it I would believe you, but since you 'refuse to', I choose not to."

Acchi Kocchi I suppose. You pretty much can't find a romance anime without any obstacles in the relationship...
That's not the issue. ******** cliches and general dumb reasoning is what he doesn't want.
"I saw [Twilight: Eclipse] in theaters with a girl I was dating at the time. I spent more time staring at my toes and wiggling them than I did watching this abomination. When Edward proposed to Blank Face, I finally looked up with a revelation.
I blurted out loud, in a dead silent theater full of teenage girls on opening night "Wait a minute, Edward has no blood flow. How does he get an erection?" I heard several men laughing, and had several girls turn and stare at me.
I did not get laid that night." - Berengier817

One manga I read that actually fit my criteria was Seven Days. It felt pretty grounded and genuine to me :P Still not an anime though...
I might give Acchi Kocchi a try.

Most Shounen Ai end up being pretty graphic and precise with phyisical interaction and less on an emotional level.
Like most of them seem more like 1 guy forces himself on another guy so long until said other guy somehow starts to like it and blushes 24/7 while getting his nipples licked until the somehow start in bed and start blowing each other.
But who am I to judge...I just read Velvet Kiss this morning lol
