June 2012

Hey everyone, it's me again ^^

Back with my monthly blog! Before I start ranting about stuff, I'd like you to comment on my previous blog and give me feedback on what sort of guides I should write! You can also suggest for other champions, or for a general guide if you like :)

So, on to what I want to share about the past month. First things first - I lucked out. I had scans made of my back, but everything turned out to be fine. All that I have to do is some physiotherapy about the way I walk, sit, etc. to help relieve my pain. Basically I have cramps in the muscles of my upper body, which can be fixed by mentioned physiotherapy. No need for a back brace or anything! :D

At school everything went well, I got very close to my "P" (short for Propedeuse, a fancy word for passing all your subjects in first year). Sadly I failed 1 subject, which I will have to do a resit on next year. Stupid databases... I fail to understand it, let's hope I will next year. I am very excited for next year…

Top Facts -38- Graves

Champion Overview:

Graves is a ranged AD carry that has free Armor/MR as well as being decently tanky. Graves has a very strong early game as well as scaling into the late game as ranged carry. Taking graves top allows your teams to have 2 AD carries and allows graves to build decently tanky instead of going the standard AD carry build. Graves has good matchups and is a strong early pick due to the fact he is a popular AD carry. Graves is the best AD carry to use to learn how to play a ranged carry top, as he is safe with a strong kit.

Skills Overview:

(Passive) True Grit- Graves gains 1 / 2 / 3 bonus armor and magic resistance every second he remains in combat. This bonus stacks up to 10 times. Graves is considered in combat if he has dealt or received damage in the last 3 seconds.
This passive is nice for top lane as it gives you more armor/magic resist to help you in the early game.

Q:

Teemo- Why he can be better played as a hybrid

When I play teemo (at least when I finish my runes for him), I walk in with 5% lifesteal, 5% spell vamp, and then another 10% lifesteal from vampiric scepter. I end with roughly 400 ap, 230 ad plus 42 magic damage each hit, 4% per hit, magic resist reduction each hit, slow 35% each hit, heal 25% of the magic damage I deal, and heal 20% of the physical damage I deal. I cut through tanks like they have no health or defense at all. My shrooms don't do nearly as much as an AP teemo, but not far from it. I still get enormous damage output from basic attacks like AD teemo, not quite as much flat damage, but still a lot. Finally, I get a decent number of on hit effects, even if fewer than on-hit teemo.

Ranked updates

Played two ranked games today with my friend.

First game: Get first pick choose Akali and call mid. End ups switching to top and putting Darius mid because I got killed pre level six and needed it. We switch but our lane partners switch as well so it accomplished nothing. My jungler (my friend)

Top Facts -37- Hecarim

Champion Overview:

Hecarim is a mobile tanky dps. He leads the charge into battle, all of his moves allow him to stay mobile while dealing out damage or providing CC and utility.

Skills Overview:

Passive: Warpath- Hecarim ignores unit collision and gains attack damage equal to 10 / 12.5 / 15 / 17.5 / 20 / 22.5 / 25% of his bonus movement speed.
This passive gives you some AD for your move speed. This skill also gives you the ability to ignore unit collision, which allows you to weave around minions to harass with your Q.
Note: Do not build movespeed to try to make use of this passive, just benefit from it as you build.

Q:

looking for subs for support mid and top

Ok this is my first blog post so this may not come out as planned but as of right now our team the Cosbys has a bit of concerns in turns of some of our people have problems making dates or just isn't here. Our lanes we need is:

Support bot

Mid lane

Solo top

we'd like to have the lanes to have 5 people of that type in each lane per example solo top being Jax, Yorick, Kayle, Nautilus and Akali. I just want to throw this out anyones fine or at least ok as long as your decent/good. need more info please post. thx for reading.

AD Carry, not a viable option for me?

Hey guys,
even if it is 1a.m. right now I want to share this epic game.
Normally, I play support and jungle, sometimes even top or mid. AD Carry is the position I hate most because it sounds like "Oh, I'm gonna farm all day" but ends up in "Oh my god, I died again because I wasn't standing right".
The last game (about 10 minutes ago) I played Caitlyn as I also want to learn the basics of an AD Carry. (By the way, I played Caitlyn because she is free to play, I don't own her.) I started the game with a mood that we're gonna lose the game. When I saw Lulu and

Ashe extermination week Day 2

Won't count when there is a leaver in the game for very long.*

Deaths are any death I have w/wo ashe.*

Kills against The ashe:
Total:9+8+7
Average:8

Deaths:
Total:4+11+6
Average:7

Minion difference:

Average:76

Reports about the matches:
Eventhough the matches went well for me I couldn't get the finishing blow on ashe and keep getting the assissts on her.
I also found in 1 game a decent ashe, coupled with a taric. The stuns are strong but an alistar or janna is able to negate it.I've been quite lucky actually, there have been many ashe players recently.I get them more often, sadly people disconnect or leave during games, what is sad.

I also made the informations more exact.I'm also thinking of posting the full results of the match by using elo buff/lolking or…

N00b Power!

W00t! I'm completely new to MOBAfire, and ready to share some AWESOME strategies/builds! I play a mean Jax, Maokai, and Nocturne! You'll probably find me playing a match of PvP Twisted Treeline, as those are my best matches. I was often called a n00b, however, because I didn't have the talent for building that I have now (skill at building really makes an impression on other gamers). That doesn't mean that you can't still trust my guides, though! Watch me. I'll be cranking out pro-level guides in no time! Hope to get good ratings! ^.^

Unbelievable

Today I just had the most UNBELIEVABLE ranked win.

RIGHT AWAY our soon-to-be support started badmouthing our second pick, saying he was a terrible jungle Darius that went 0/5 last game, and that we shouldn't let him jungle.

The game started off with okay bans, Cassiopeia/
