NEVER PROVIDE WRONG PERSON HEALING
Almost the worst thing that can happen to a yuumi main is that he heals a teammate and then it turns out another ally needs it more. If this happens and you dont have a calculated opportunity to proc passive shield, that ally will die.

NEVER HOP OFF
The more you hop off the more the opponents will adapt and learn from your playstyle. At the beginning every is underestimated. Hopping out in random dangerous situations are only to be for baiting. And even then I recommend only hopping out when cooldown is reset.
If you are losing games its because you are hoping off too much. Yuumi players learn to play afk.

DARK HARVREST:
Now thats out the way. Heres how to really hop out and be a real nuisance as Yuumi
Dark harvest procs off and you can also use and at the same time.

Try to burst opponents with , and let your ally secure the kill.

Hop out for your and an auto on a target only after crowd control has been used

Dont waste on 1 shot targets. Instead hop out with a one two combo , , then focus on attaching back to the carry and giving him one additional heal while he's positioned safely to auto.

JUST KEEP CARRY SAFE WITH AND final

Dont be worried bout taking damage. helps against autos.
is good punishment tool for improper backs. is the other other rune I would consider important but it is not essential
if you can properly use your passive, becomes useless and can be replaced with utility runes. micro manage your passive more and bring some other secondary runes
Maybe bring or or instead

STAY WITH PLAYER BOUNTIES.
Try tp rotate through the teammates with bounties and make their bounty a lot more effective. It is not worth killing a 700 bounty carry if 3 people die for it. Make this ^ happen.

DONT EVER BACK
Don't back. Period. Try to only back 4 times in the game. the xp lead will help. Your gives you enough mana regen to stay in lane until you need to go. But always know. No matter what. No matter how low on resources you are, Yuumi players can always make plays happen. Just need one auto to give a clutch shield to an ally.

The only time you can afford to go OOM is if your opponents are ranged non stop pressuring your adc. Call for the jungler when opponents are low on mana. Try to stick to jungler and soak xp from other lanes. Do not leave adc alone in bot more than 4 minutes. Try to back when the danger is minimal/nothing is happening on map.
ONLY back 4 times whole game (Very possible if team is a snowball machine)


SOME YUUMI SKILL SCIENCE
MAX > >

is USELESS this patch due to doing 0 dmg even maxed full ap)
MAX FEELS GREAT on snowball carries and helping adc cs)
MAX is important when you feel the need to spike in heals.

for every point in increases mana costs by 5. Each level up also increases mana consumption so avoid leveling up AT ALL COSTS until you get everfrost to 1 shot. TL DR: DONT MAX . TOO MUCH MANA COST TOO HIGH. TRY TO MAX WHEN YOU HAVE SPIKE. BUT ALSO IF IS COSTING U 200 MANA AT RANK 1. ITS WORTH TO HAVE COUPLE POINTS IN FOR ADDITIONAL 60 HP for 10 more mana

at the beginning of the game you have 500 mana and e costs 100 mana
At the beginning you have 6 heals (including passive)
You have about six heals throughout the entirety of the game.
Ranking up your early is useless it will only give you 5 not 6 heals
Rank up your when you feel the need to spike. They will not see the healing spike coming.
OR just try to rank up your after the mana cost starts increasing. Since cost goes up with champion levels. It is not ideal to be spending 140+ mana on a rank 1 spell.

LEVELLING IS THE BEST BECAUSE YOULL SEE BURST DAMAGE FROM CHAMPIONS YOUVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE WITH THE BONUS ADAPTIVE DAMAGE.

Use only for quickly making 1000g off your support item, and baiting opponents to dodge a useless spell. sometimes you can bait them off of hitting your adc with a well timed . Sometimes you can finish off opponents with dark harvest and a rank one max range with the slow.
If they aren't expecting it/ running away/on CDs/ or they are all inning on your adc. you can dump skills then hop off and auto. track the enemy and if you think they will run start preemptively running towards them. You can always again back to your adc if they focus you.

BASING WITH YUUMI
Everytime you base with an ally, you can them when they walk out of fountain, pop out, recover full mana in fountain, and ranged You and back to the ally for an additional cast. Usually going to lane I try to cast 3 times. But do not be afraid to make this 2-4 casts depending on if we can make it in time to soak xp before the melee minions/caster minion dies in xp range. If you heal 4 times you must be very focused on getting mana back at perfect time with when you are 100% safe behind minion or enemy no cc cds.

YOU SPIKE AT 6 WITH JUNGLER
Yuumi only needs level 6 to be honest.
After 6 you can afk at tower and let your adc get 7 first. This is a huge spike. This this does not work on adcs that are already behind. When adc is behind. Look to bait skillshots with your amazing footwork and reattach safely. Even just baiting a couple shots relieves enough pressure for you to heal up.



CODE RED BODYBLOCK
Most matchups you can afford to body block 1 spell while enemies have cc on cd
Only use for kill confirms / the end of the trade. This guarantees you can continue the killing spree off.
This does not mean killsteal the enemies.
Give kills to allys and watch them pop off in 10 minutes on the other side of the map

SAVE YOUR ALLY LAST SECOND
Start engages with ulti after they use mobility spell. Do not engage enemies often as yuumi. Do this for priority plays like when the jungler is close to gank or you need to save a life from caitlyn ace in the


DEFCON 5 YUUMI.
THIS IS THE PART WHERE EVERYTHING IS GONE TO **** AND YOURE GETTING GANKED OVEREXTENDED. Use ulti after they use mobility spell. if your adc has shutdown bounty you can make sacraficial play by walking towards river instead of your turret. You must dodge all cc and last as long aas you can or your adc might die too.

ABANDON ADC PROTOCOL
As a yuumi main we all know there's no perfect dream besides an amazing game with your adc but if your adc suicidal and keeps dying. As long as they're not toxic you can afford to ditch the adc and stick on stronger teammates.
The risk here : is that your adc can die again
The rewards are : you can die less. you help the team snowball. You open up ganks bot while enemies are diving adc, and the best one is the adc gets solo xp. Adc will eventually win 2v1 lane and the game if he doesnt die due to more xp. But most adcs will die making game more balanced. Try to tip the scale in yoyr favour with the jungle roams. Always note while roaming with yuumi. besides bounties theres nothing really as important as being back on your adc working for the minion xp/minion gold
Cuz if he gets shut down completely youll have to fall back on 4v5 protocol

If adc is toxic just play with him and try to win. If you leave him he will afk.

4V5 PROTOCOL
stay safe until they return.
You can occasionally win 4v5's if enough teammates headspace is right and you have the essential scaling power to win at some point. Some examples of 4v5's I won are with ,

It is important to never bait your allies by sticking on them. If you feel like you are unsafe you must be the one to ping them back. if they dont listen immediately you need to either rapid ping them, or you need to find a way to detatch and start walking the direction you want them to go. If they dont follow, just start running away alone.

Try to bait that additional spell onto you if you have the health. Only take hits while the enemy is in the cycle of depleting his combo. For example if enemy stuns opponent, hop out and absorb the incoming damage after it. Some abilities like 's Q, can be blocked with no problem
