Hi I am KORASIII an Grandmaster Mid main from NA.

I play a fair bit of Vladimir despite being a Kassadin Main. This is my go to pocket pick when Kassadin is banned and is fairly safe due to being a manaless sustain champ. With the new 11.16 buffs to Vladimir you can abuse him for LP gains.

Short Trades Pre 6 - E Q W

Vladimir is quite strong level 1. Try to get level 2 first by slow shoving the wave.

If you are against melee enemy mid try to abuse your range by using Auto - Q - Auto. This will proc electrocute and chunk for quite a bit of damage

VLadimir's empowered Q is a lot of damage. Try to use this as a zone tool when your opponent is trying to CS or an opportunity to trade!

If you are against ranged try to not get shoved in as you want piro for the level 3 scuttle fight!

Your first back should be Sorcerer shoes or hextech alternator.

Vlad is very strong once you hit level 9. The Q max is very good heal + damage wise.

You should have protobelt + dark seal + Tier 2 boots.

Vladimir is very good at engaging fights. Landing multiple target r's will set up your team nicely.

Protobelt will give you bonus movespeed to chase/engage. Nimbus cloak will also help you.

If you are ahead you can go deathcap 2nd. If you are finding yourself behind you can go hourglass for utility.

Vladimir is a late game monster! Your full combo is good enough to oneshot most squishies at 3-4 items. Always be aware about your empowered Q try to time this with your full combo to oneshot.Vladimir should be played like an assassin/engage champ and one shot the enemy hypercarry. You have very good stall with W + zhonyas hourglass so do not be scared! Hourglass at the perfect time to get the heal from your R.
