So sorry I have been slow I have been on vacation for the past 2 weeks so admittedly I have no idea how he feels to update the guide as of yet. I will be back better than ever and update as I gain experience to properly give you all solid information to use. :D

Hi, are there any great differences between going on-hit or crit?

Hi! Yes so for On-Hit you get more DPS, Better Defensive stats, and it is more gold efficient than Crit. The thing with crit is that it does more DPS at the 4 item power spike. On-Hit then has more DPS at full build. I am still adjusting to 12.11 so I will be updating the guide shortly when I find the highest consistent win source for runes and builds. :)

I am only a mid-high gold player but have been experimenting a new build into teams with very little 'tankyness' for lack of better terms. Its electrocute with a Yoummuu;s Ghostblade into Eclipse. Have you experimented before with lethality/non crit builds? I have had a little bit of success with it, but dont know if its just a fluke.

Akshan is a champion who can build many things and have it work out! Part of the joy of the champion! I have experimented with it and I find that it is overall worse than both Crit and On-Hit. However the build that I recommend to be the core build path is the most optimal in all scenarios at this point in time (Patch 12.8). It is the most optimal build offensively, defensively, and gold efficiently. If you are enjoying the lethality build then by all means it isn't horrible! I would suggest trying to get used to the on-hit if you can tho!

Hello, i am climbing extremly fast with these builds and runes. Very nice information and everything. One question, do i run immortal shieldbow against many burst och squisys, and then run kraken the most matchups?. and if am ahead, is the best last item guardian angel?.

I am glad you are finding success with Akshan! If you find that you need help surviving and you don't feel you can solve that with positioning then Shieldbow is a good option. If you are ahead and you feel you would need Guardian Angel then go for it, I feel Lord Dominik's will be your most optimal by a long shot tho. You have solid survivability with your 4 core items so I don't think it is super necessary but I won't say it's has no value

Alright thank u for answering.. And then one more question if you dont mind :) , I usually dont go negative stats with akshan, but say if i dont get any kills and lack on gold, whats the plan then?, and 2 people are feed. Should i build immortal, or kraken to shutdown them?

If you are lacking in gold, the new build I am recommending with Bortk > Guinsoo's > Wit's End is the most gold efficient build you can go while also only losing out on 300 DPS. In return you gain about 700 total effective hp and more utility so I would recommend this. Only rush Shieldbow in place if you are finding it impossible to survive

Great guide man! This has been my go to since picking up Akshan.

Any thoughts on the on-hit vs crit build after the nerf? Also, do you build wit's end first or just go for KS first?

Thank you man I am glad that you can find some use in it! So after this last patch I've been running through practice tools, lolmath, and in game experience to try and find the most optimal way to pilot Akshan. From what I have done the Core On-Hit build is still the most optimal for highest dps and highest defensive stats while still being the best gold efficiency. With the newest Bortk buff it is more optimal to rush Bortk now instead of Wits End, and build Wits 4th in place of where we would usually build Bortk. Also I have found that going for a Lvl 9 Q max is better than Lvl 10 (which is just 2 points into E and then max Q). I hope this helps!

Yes Botrk is a better first buy than any others for Akshan. Right now I found that going without a mythic until 4th item is actually the most optimal. I am still playtesting for the different variables and when to go for mythic. But in every situation so far I have felt tons better building BORTK > Guinsoo's > Wit's End (or wits second) and then build mythic 4th

Interesting. Will give that a try a few games. Don't you miss the extra damage Kraken slayer brings?

Honest to God I don't feel the damage drop off. I haven't felt this strong with Akshan since the nerfs running mythicless til 4th item

Hey there! Recently I noticed that akshans E seems to stack lethal tempo to max which allows you to easily abuse the extra range after an all in E which might help secure a kill or dish out more damage since E also scales on it. I'm not sure if it is a viable choice now since E never stacked his E before. I certainly feels strong though.

It definitely isn't bad but it is more of a bug than an intended feature. PTA is overall the better rune to win harder through lane and gain more micro advantages. Although it is fun to stack up Lethal super quick :D
