Hi, I notice that Yuumi has a lot of hate for her reputation as an afk champ. I aim to dispel that myth by showing you how Yuumi is not for robots, but can actually contribute to a positive score by the end of the game by dying less and initiating fights.

Yuumi is safe if you play passive, keep your heals for yourself, and shield yourself when apporpriate. They cannot catch you. Make sure to position yourself far enough back so that they cannot reasonably reach you.

Yuumi has incredible sustain so she can get away without buying pots. When you level up her heal, it becomes stronger and provides incredable sustain in lane. Mana issues can be addressed with her passive. You gain mana whenever you auto a champion with a cooldown attached. In addition, you are untargetable when attached to a champion so you can save your heals for when your laner dies.

Since you are safe, you want to push out the lane as much as possible. When your laner dies, you want to manipulate the lane in a way so that the minions crash into your tower. This will give you more EXP so that you can level up your abilities sooner for those juicy heals.

Rush Dead Man's Plate for survivablity in addition to MS since Yuumi is typically really squishy, this will aid a lot in helping you escape with a sliver of health.

Make sure to stay with your laner to soak as much EXP as possible. As support, you want to stay with your laner to keep them safe. See if you can initate fights with your ult if you are in a safe position to do so. If you do, make sure you have your flash and/or Shurelias up so you can retreat to safety. Once your teammates go in, you should step back to make sure you are in a safe position to heal anyone if necessary.

Same as above, you want to save your wards around your base to keep a certain level of safety when you leave base. Keep doing the same thing as Mid game in regards to starting fights.

If you follow the instructions listed above, you should have the second lowest death on your team if not the lowest. We contribute to the team's victory by not feeding.
