hello, i am wondering which is the optimal one shot build, duskblade or kraken etc. also does collector work well on yi?

Due to the recent meta changes, the kraken build is the best build overall as it good in all circumstances Collector is ok on yi with duskblade, but you should stick to the on hit build to consistently climb.

I have been struggling alot recently with yi,it seems i cant find the right build for him anymore,i have seen countless videos and guides including yours but i cant find the right path to make master yi viable for me,even though he is so fun to play :/

Hey, I'm sorry to hear that pal. Send me an in-person video of your gameplay through discord and I'll review it for you free of charge, your success shouldn't be reliant on your build as long as you are going viable items for yi. My assumption is that something is holding you back in your gameplay. Also, I have yet to add it to the guide yet, but the bork,rageblade, immortal sheildbow build path is pretty strong right now.

Thanks for replying, is not like im playing so poorly ( i dont consider myself god player on yi) but seems like every time i pick him the enemy team goes full master yi counter champs,also i agree immortal shieldbow is strong right now,becauze sunfire feels weak ngl,also do you suggest coing lethal tempo with these 3 core items?

Np. If there are more tanks lethal tempo is better but if there are more squishy opponents that can be killed in a few autos go HOB

Is Duskblade yi still viable in patch 12.5?

Yes, but only with the on-hit items. The old duskblade build is not enough to burst people so it has lost its value.

Hello Tolis, blade of the ruined king is an ok item on Yi, but it is rarely built by the best players. This is due to guinsoos rageblade, wits end, and deaths dance providing so much more value in terms of damage, resistances and cost efficiency. The only situation in where it could be valuable is against a full team of tanks, however even then building the items I mentioned above may be more valuable. WELP, THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE TOLIS! SINCE THE BUFFS TO BRUISER ITEMS AND THE NERF FOR STERACKS WILL CHANGE ITEMIZATION FOR YI! I will update the guide once I have a clear consensus on what the best build is.
