Hello everyone!!! A toxic player wants to 1v1 me against my illaoi and i get to pick any champion i want to fight against.so out of all the champi
ons in league who just doesnt stand a chance? I just want to prove a point so i was thinking of a support champ or anyone that cant fight alone. Please help me with a champion and maybe a build to counter even more?

how do you know whether to choose standard runes or lane centric runes for illaoi?

Hey! I updated the name of that specific runepage to be a bit clearer. Grasp allows you to be tankier, whereas conqueror gives you more damage / healing. Hope that clears things up!

It largely doesn't matter, try both and see what feels better to you. You can go fleet into ranged matchups (Vayne, Quinn, etc.) Into Melees either works just fine.

Best illaoi guide out there, good job!

Maybe it has been asked a lot, but why choosing conqueror ?
I found it realy hard to proc, and often the teamfight is ended before conq is stacked :/
I tryed glacial augment instead, so what are your thought on it ?
(i'm not native, so i apologize for my mistakes)

Hey, sorry for the late response. Glacial augment is worse because stridebreaker was heavily nerfed, negating a lot of the setup and play potential with glacial. Conqueror is mainly better into heavy melee comps, and you can slot fleet footwork into heavy ranged comps. Teamfights are kinda tricky, because you're usually looking to stack conq on your vessel then engage!

For what i tryed, the laning phase is worse with conq compared to glacial augment (or at least it is for me, as i don't stack conq in an optimal way yet), but much better in team fight, so it's more interessting for survivability and kill potential. I'll try to stack before the main engage, it sure will be stronger ^^
