hi ! just started to play the champion and your guide help me so much, i can't thank you enough :) since i also started playing mid recently i struggle to understand the order of buying and selling items, for example when am i supposed to sell the seal or the doran item ? does it depend on the game or ? i'm kinda lost about that... thank's again for all the time you must have spend writing those advices, they are soo useful ! have a nice day <3

Sorry for the late reply! I'm glad you enjoyed the guide :D For selling the items I recommend selling dorans first always before the dark seal, usually you sell it when you run out of space in your inventory and you need it to buy an item that is around 700+ gold to make it worth selling. Every game is different but I will usually sell dorans building into the second item, however sometimes it can be earlier or later. Dark seal I try to hold as long as possible, usually keeping it for at least over 4 items since when it has 10 stacks the item gives almost as much AP as a large rod. What are your thoughts on a tankier Diana build mid with grasp? Maybe ROA into Nashors, or Nashors into a tank mythic?

I actually have been trying those builds and runes on my alt account for the past 3 days, I don't have a full opinion on it but I do think it works really well into team comps with lots of bruisers and tanks that Diana is really bad into. Again, I'm not 100 percent sure on the build since I'm still trying it, but those are my thoughts :D

Hi!! I'm learning to master diana and i love this guide, i learned a lot about diana matchups with this.
I have a question about itemization. What is winning Side Line? I think I get lost when I build diana because I don't know when I win side line and when I don't :/

I'm glad you enjoyed it! So for winning side lanes, usually if the enemy team has bruiser champs top lane like jax or fiora and you dont win 1v1 against the enemy mid laner, then you want to opt in for teamfighting. Usually you tend to win side lanes against mages like ziggs or zoe as long as you are not behind. However, if you have a strong teamfight team as well like an amumu and missfortune, then sometimes I will play for teamfight even if I win side lanes. i don't like using protobelt too much, it doesn't work weel on me unless i'm already ahead or the enemy team doesn't play very well (with any character, may i be playing with Akali,Diana,etc). Thinking so,i remember when i played as gwen top/mid , and building riftmaker was a very strong item because of it's lifesteal and passive which recovered a lot of health in my ult and Q, so i would like to know if it could be a good item for diana (i started playing with her this week i think)

Sorry about the late message, I have not been on this website lately at all, however, I personally do not like using that item as, currently, it does less damage than the other two Diana items during short bursts fights and even medium-length fights while also not providing the passive you want as Diana. I think protobelt is especially versatile when it comes to dodging key abilities by the enemy opponent champions, so I also really like it for that. Night harvester can also be a great item. However, this is just my opinion on it of course if you like the feel of that item better then you can always take it.
