Yeah, me too, but never when playing with Veigar so I wanted to share the wisdom I acquired playing some months with him.

Sorry, I have not introduced myself yet, I am Janx, I became obsessed with Veigar the very first time i played with him, but I still had other champs to try so I left him for a while, when we met up again I realized I was as in love as before.

This guide shows a different way to be played with Veigar, innovations and daring that actually work, so i hope you guys learn anything of it and enjoy. ^-^

Skins

If you don't have any skins, Classic Veigar is a good choice, The splash art is dope, and actually very beautiful in game too.

Yeah Leprechaun Veigar!, If you just want a cool skin without exaggeration, this is the one, so much beautiful and very cheap too.

10/10 would buy.

These two together works pretty well, but in some circunstances you may prefer another choices.

---

Flash - Since you don't have so much mobility, this spell is extremely important to the life of a Veigar.
With flash you could survive a early gank that would ruin your game start or even help you to get a kill that will help you a lot.

Ghost - The same principle of Flash.
This does not have an instant effect, but is much better in the long run, usually used in chases, be it against you or against your enemy

Other alternatives

---

Teleport - Goes well with refillable potion, recommended against enemys with hard poke.
Since you have refillable potion, you can use it without worry, a good time to go back is when you have 1200gold in your pocket, so you can buy a Lost Chapter(mana sustain) and Boots to dodge the pokes.
If you are really suffering, you can recall with 650gold and buy Corrupting Potion along with the Boots.

Barrier - This prevent you for dying instantly, or... so it should be
You'll almost never use this spell, to be honest, its not much helpful, maybe it would help when Syndra ults you to death and you need plus 250HP.

Heal - As useless as Barrier, with movement speed but with less defense.
I can't see many opportunities that Heal works well, maybe playing against Annie, when she doesn't have enough damage to finish you, you just heal and run away from her Tibers.

Ignite - A good true damage, but only in early trades.
This spell becomes insignificant throughout the game, but if you know you're going to punish your enemy a lot in laning phase, you should take this spell to gain early trade, become strong, gank, and make your friends strong too.

Start

Buy Dark Seal and Refillable Potion, do NOT buy trinket, let the game do it for you.

Why you should buy Dark Seal instead of Doran's Ring:

• It's the same thing;
• Dark Seal stacks;
• Doran's Ring + Health Potion = meh
• Dark Seal + Refillable Potion = magic

First Back

Read Teleport description above before reading this

Usual Back

You spam your Baleful Strike so you spend a lot of mana in lane, if you have the opportunity and the coin, buy Lost Chapter and Boots. Also, remember to buy Control Ward to help not only you, but your whole team.

Forced Back

If you died or almost and have to go base there two options:

• If you're winning lane, buy more damage and wards to make sure you will not get caught on a gank
• If you can't stand the lane, you can buy a Corrupting Potion (remember to use it before fighting to use its passive)

Items Order

Respect this order until Fiendish Codex, at this point you already have40%CdR

The Choice

It is very important to choose wisely what item to buy after codex:

• Rabadon's Deathcap - Its very good when you have advantage in game and want to accelerate to finish the game faster and don't give chance to the other team grow stronger.
• In case you are losing, rush Zhonya's Hourglass, its stats are very good and protect you of assassins that were highly buffed.

The Seventh Item

You may noticed that we have 7 items in this build, this is because Everfrost its only for VERY long games, you sell your boots and buy it, it will give you a bit mobility from its active and a plus considerable damage on it too
