One OF the hardest matchups ever, you have 2 options. If Zed is bad, you can dodge his W-E-Q combo or stun him in his R But if he is Good He wont get stunned and one-shot you with R TIp:İF he Uses His R Cage to Tower And Flash in cage(DO not Do this if you think He is Good or in higher elo)

Pretty good for veigar and AP farm, and dont let him EQ you and dodge it. Swift Boost will help, and dodge his W. If you're hit by W, just walk only in early game
Tip: Try to cage his E

Ahri

Major

Hard Matchup. IF She is good. She can one-shot Wave and roam when you struggle with minions. She has a tempo advantage.
Tip: Try to observe her ult dashes direction if she uses her ult right often cage right
Tip 2: If your teammates died, even if you ss Mute all

Akali

Extreme

tough matchup for Veigar due to her high mobility and burst damage. Avoid getting within her Q range (around 500 units), especially in the early levels. The moment she approaches or goes invisible, preemptively cast your E around yourself and stand near the edge of the cage to maximize distance and reaction time.

Tip: Akali can guarantee her E if she lands her R first. When she dashes in with her ultimate, be ready to sidestep immediately to avoid the follow-up E—it’s crucial for surviving her full combo. Playing defensively and farming safely until you scale will give you a better chance to turn the game in your favor.

Akshan

Extreme

Akshan is one of the hardest matchups for Veigar, especially if He knows what He doing. He can easily one-shot you with Ignite Level 1, and he’ll constantly push the wave to roam and look for kills across the map. Try not to contest him early—focus on staying safe and farming under tower until you scale.

Tip: When he uses E on terrain, he’ll swing through and can instantly get stunned if you time your E correctly. Predict where he’ll travel, and drop your cage slightly ahead of him. If done right, he’ll get stunned mid-swing, giving you a rare chance to punish him."

Hard matchup do not go her 800 range so she cant wall you back. Go for scaling runes and build
Tip: If Avinia dies, she can tp during the respawn, so wait your cage for her respawn

Annie

Easy Matchup just dont get pokes with her auto attack because her auto attack range is insane, and don't engage when she have 4 stacks.
Tip: Be aware of her combo. She can q you with 3 stack and cast E in midair, and you can get stunned

Aurelion Sol

Tiny

Both Veigar and Aurelion Sol are weak early but scale hard into the late game. The key is to not give him any stacks from his passive—play safe, farm from range, and avoid extended trades that let him poke freely. Stay behind your minions to block his Q pathing, and never fight him near his empowered zones.

Tip: His Q requires him to stay still while channeling. Even if he uses W to fly, you can still predict his path and drop your E in that direction. He can't cancel his Q once it starts, so with good timing, you can easily stun him mid-flight and punish hard

This is a generally easy matchup for Veigar. Just be cautious of her long-range poke—getting chipped down can make trades risky. Respect her spacing and farm safely until you can start zoning her with your E. Your scaling is stronger, so don’t take unnecessary risks early.
