Hi! I’m an OTP Briar who has been maining her for a little over a year. This season I’ve played around 300 games with her and maintained a 59% win rate.

This guide was created to share the setups, jungle paths, and decision-making patterns that helped me climb. The goal is to provide a clear and reliable way to learn Briar and avoid common mistakes.

Core Identity
Briar is an OTP champion built to kill people through simple but decisive plays.
She has no skillshots and plays as a bruiser / assassin hybrid, where success depends far more on decision making than raw mechanics.

Your skill on Briar is defined by how well you manage

not flashy inputs or mechanical outplays.

Decision-making > mechanics

Playstyle & Strengths
Briar shines in 2v2 and 3v3 skirmishes and is a heavy snowball champion.
She thrives in fights when low HP (~30% or less) and excels at cleaning up kills in chaotic situations.

She is a consistent 6.5–7 CS/min jungler and spikes very hard at her
3-item power spike.
After 25 minutes, Briar transitions into a tanky bruiser, using survivability to buy time in fights while continuing to apply pressure and damage.

Briar rewards smart aggression and punishes poor decisions — master when to fight, not how fast to press buttons.

EXPECTATIONS – LEARNING BRIAR

What Will Go Wrong
When learning Briar, expect to make a lot of mistakes. She punishes bad decisions harder than most champions.

This is normal. Briar has a harsh learning curve, but as your decision making improves and you learn when not to fight, these mistakes fade away — and she becomes one of the most rewarding junglers to master.

Briar doesn’t forgive mistakes — she teaches you not to repeat them.
