Sterak's is very good on Shyvana. I haven't tinkered with Dead man's plate much but it works well on her too right now.

Have you tested with Sterak's Gage or Dead Man's Plate as the final item? Any thoughts? I feel like sunfire falls off late game when jungle clears are so fast anyway.

I've played some more this week and updated my current recommended build to Devourer > Titanic > BORK:

Build order:
Devourer
Titanic
Cutlass
Boots of Ionia
Kindlegem
Blade of the Ruined King
Spirit Visage (or Ohmwrecker)
Sunfire (or another tanky item Frozen Mallet/Banshee's/Randuin's)

---

This results in you doing crazy damage while being very tanky. I think its a an exceptional balance. So as I found while Devourer + Titanic don't directly benefit each other, Titanic is a valid tank item in a Devourer+Bork build... which turns nasty since it will continue to boost Shyvana's health goes up, and her Devourer+Bork base already does silly damage. I've been sevearly pub-smashing with this build

I played more today and tried some more Devourer > Titanic and my feeling is as follows:

Devourer + Titanic have virtually no benefit together (neither plays off the other in any way) Likewise the difference in damage between a full tank build with Titanic and Cinder hulk vs Titanic and Devourer is minimal.

Consequently I feel this pushes Jungle Shvyana users to two general build paths:

Titanic > Frozen Mallet > Cinderhulk
VS
Devourer > BORK > Sunfire (or other tank item)

There are big differences between these build paths. Both lead to fun games.

Ok so with the new patch my build preference is:

Runes: Runspeed quints, AttackSpeed Marks, Armor Seals, 10% CDR Glyphs
Mastery: Defensive with recovery and preserverance
Build:
Tiamat >
Stalkers Blade >
Boots >
Titanic >
Ionian Boots >
Frozen Mallet >
Cinder Hulk >
Pick two: Spirit Vissage, Warmog, Randuin's, Black Cleaver

---

Devourer/Bork is still completely valid and has much higher damage than the above Titanic build.

But the above build can participate in team fights all day long, split push, hunt people down and otherwise tear groups in two with super nasty AE damage. All while tanking with over 5k health. The key to the above build is rush Titanic. Do not get cinderhulk first, do not finish your boots first, get your Titanic and then rush your Frozen mallet as fast as possible. The combination of Mallet+Titanic = no one can solo you and it will require most of their cooldowns to escape. This gives you free reign to farm, push lanes, take objectives ETC.

VERY important note. If you finish cinderhulk before tiamat/frozen-mallet you will lag behind. The nerf to cinder hulk was a bit too large and it doesn't shine unless you have some CC (Shyvana + cinderhulk = people just run/kite).

I love the cleaver on Shyvana but it doesn't pair well with Devourer!

Biggest negative for the champ IMO is lack of CC. This is mentioned, but it deserves a place in the "cons" panel. If no one else wants to bring hard CC to the game, then I would pick a different jungler.

Have you tried Cleaver lately? Building out of Phage helps a lot, and it stacks with Bork a lot better than Wit's End. The total damage output is so mixed that it could go either way, but I'd almost surely go Cleaver if I have to play in an anti-tank setting.

I must say its really hard to not recommend Boots > Devourer > Wits End > Bork > Tank item > Tank item. Right now Wits End + Bork + Devourer does crazy damage. You just split push all game and destroy anyone who attempts to stop you. Skip team fights and keep them small in Shyvana's best spot scrimmages with 3 and less.

I'm running some extra tests now too with Wit's end. Attackspeed vs Hybrid Pen. Offensive vs Defensive. Etc.

I'm a bit concerned Jungle Shyvana will see nerfs after what I saw in my first live game. I ran:

Build order:
Sated Devourer
Sunfire
Boots of Ionia
Spirit Visage
Bork
Warmog

Runes: 10% CDR, attack speed, and run speed
Mastery: Offensive 9 and Defensive 21

I absolutely destroyed their team mid game with my first three items and a kindlegem. With the Devourer charged and max CDR you literally are pounding Q's out nonstop, combined with with Shyvana's nasty AE damage (sunfire, burnout, ult, breath). With defensive masteries and upfront defensive items I was really nasty.

If you look at:
http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1881329168/202842338?tab=overview

The noticeable difference from previous games was I was able to take my farm at the 19 minute mark and turn the game around from a 3k blue gold lead to a steep incline to a red win. On one hand perhaps this is what should have happened given my experience with Shyvana (I should be able to snowball games). But this was one of the most dramatic I recall from a losing game.

Literally our first team fight at the 19 minute mark depressed the **** out of the enemy team as their lead became meaningless when I ulted their team and tore nearly everyone down to half health... our team followed behind me with an ace.

Also with the changes in defensive masteries I think they are the way to go. Likewise I think I'll be pushing flat CDR quints and going with Ionia boots, simply because Shyvana's midgame is going to be crucial (and nasty).

---

My other games are going quite similar.

I've pushed a large update into my build guide.

Right now I advice:
Runes: Attack speed marks or Hybrid Penetration Marks, 10% CDR and runspeed Quints
Spells: Cleanse and Smite
Mastery: 21 Offense / 9 Defense OR 9 Offense / 21 Defense

Build:
Sated Devourer
Sunfire
Boots of Ionia
Spirit Visage
Bork
Warmog/Randuin/FrozenMallet/Trinity/Wit'sEnd
