You don't need crit runes at all, just use trinity force, infinity edge, and stattik shiv and you will have 100% crit, you can also just have crit marks and perhaps one crit rune and you don't need Trinity so you can get a defensive item instead for example. However Trinity force is really good with yasuo at the moment because yasuo can proc spellblade and phage passive with his q which can be really good for improving his damage output and movement even further. Hope you can make a great and better guide with these tips, and some items would be nice too see in the build.
I hope you don't expect me to take you seriously. lol. Back before the crit item buffs, You had to build 3 crit items to get 100% without crit runes, which is why it makes the most sense because it opens up an item slot.
I've played enough yasuo to know that Trinity force is an overrated item. My build and runes are far superior because it offers more defensive stats and gives a power spike to Yasuo's early game.
That all being said, this guide is being updated for the new season with the crit changes. But considering you posted that comment back in September, it was wrong then.
The crit Quints are really a matter of personal preference. I like it with 3 crit quints because it massively increases his early game and mid game dueling, although I agree 2 crit quints, and a AD quint or Attack Speed quint arguable would make him even stronger.
I appreciate the feedback Kikue. I'll be adding some of your valuable information to the guide.
I admire Yasuo players, because is difficult to grow up your elo by playing a difficult champ who isnt especially broken, and toplane yasuo make it harder even more since you will probably not have a tanky frontlane. Endly i invite you to play yasuo mid with flash and ignite and x2 as quints + 1 ad quint and you will see how your elo begins to grow. Good luck (soz for bad engrish)
