I just wanted to say that, being a one trick M7 one trick Vladimir, this is a terrific guide. I do disagree with the other comments about implementing a cheat sheet. Due to the fact, that they make reading and scrolling very difficult in general. This guide is very simple, to the point, and very insightful. I really hope that It is updated for the new rune system.

This is a very interesting guide! I do enjoy having a bit of tankiness, but it makes sense a bit more in the late game to go full AP.

I will mention though: How do you feel about Rylai's Crystal Scepter in relationship to this guide? It provides a nice amount of AP, Health, and a slowing passive. It seems like a great item for Vlad, since it goes well with his Tides of Blood. It's also my first item I build on Top Vlad.

Thoughts?

It's a decent rush for lane and not a horrible item overall, but its deficiencies can be summed up in one word: awkward. Awkward slow, awkward stats, awkward synergy with other items and the champion itself and never really the right choice for any situation.

It was better off before the nerf.

In this specific context, it lacks damage and has no real place in the build. What would it even replace? All the items fulfill a specific purpose, from mobility to damage amplification to cooldown reduction. Rylai's Crystal Scepter fulfills none of them.

Hmm. I beg to differ, however, I play very little Vladimir, so I just wanted to see your opinion.

Great guide btw!

Heya! I really like how you've broken down positioning as Vlad - it's not something I've seen done that way before and it was really clear. I'm unsure whether or not your guide counts as a guide, as the cheat sheet is not filled in, so you may want to reconsider that. Additionally, the cheat sheet allows people to see, at a glance, what to level first, which masteries to pick etc.

All the best for your guide!

Hello, and thanks for taking the time to review my guide.

I am really happy to have been recieve your commend, since most guides on mobafire seem to have a rather barren discussion section and I wasn't expecting anything here for at least several weeks, if at all.

On the qualifications to be a guide, I had not realised there was a minimum requirement on the cheat sheets to do so; could you explain that a bit further?

On my end, the cheat sheet has been left mostly empty on purpose as I feel the massive amount of scrolling it necessitates before even getting to the guide itself rather cumbersome and detrimental to actually reading the guide. My "Build" section intending to serve as a more compact mini-cheat sheet in the first place.

That being said, do you think that it should be expanded, regardless? What parts do you feel are necessary on the cheat sheet, or do you think that having everything on there is necessary for a guide? I would be delighted to hear your opinion on the topic.

Heya! To my knowledge, you have a better chance of being well received as a guide if you have all the aspects of the cheat sheet. For instance, as you don't refer to Vlad's skills much at all, readers don't know which abilities to level at which point of the game.

If you truly believe the cheat sheet to be unweildly, perhaps raise some discussion in the forums about it. The owners of the site are always receptive to feedback and they're in the process of updating certain parts of the site :)
