Hello and welcome to my first build. This is the build to Jarvan IV

Please tell me if there's anything wrong and CC is welcome.

The skill order i put down to me works the best. Early on you want the attack speed as soon as possible, because not only does it give attack speed but armour to you AND your teammates. In addition it also does dmg to people. I dont really upgrade the Q move for the reason that its not actually that effective. Yes it reduces armour but you have runes for that anyway, its only really used to pull people up or escape with your E+Q combo. Your W skill gives you a shield but the key thing is that it slows people down essentially making sure they can not catch/escape you.

i take 21-0-9. Imo this is the best way as his utility doesnt help him that much. Yes he may gain some early movement speed but whats the point when you have boots and zeal and later on have a phantom dancer?

I've listed a couple of runes however i currently run;
x9 mark of alacrity
x9 seal of evasion
x9 glyph of focus
x2 quintessence of desolation
x1 quintessence of alacrity

This enables you to have attack speed and some armour penetration. However you can replace them and have Armour penetration runes instead. However i've never really liked armour penetration runes tbh but its your choice.

perhaps the key thing to Jarvan IV is his item build. He's a tanky dps and item wise i find that the best way to play him is similar to Xin zhao or renekton.
DORANS SHIELD- at the beginning you want as much health as you can and health regen, you could in theory get a ruby crystal if you want to build into phage quicker.
WRIGGLES LANTERN- this enables you to have wards and lifesteal plus armour and attack damage. A very good item in my opinion. As soon as you get this you can start jungling and from my experiance i usually outlevel people from jungling. Helps save your team from ganks.Perfect.
late late game however i liek to swap this for a bloodthirster for extra AD and lifesteal.
BERSERKER GREAVES- i enjoy berserker greaves for the attack speed however if there's a heavy CC team you can get mercury treads.
FROZEN MALLET- gives health slows people down and attack damage. The key thing about this is the slow and health, yes i understand jarvan can be built tank but the slow GUARANTEES no escape or catching up especially when you have PHANTOM DANCER your E and Q knock up.
PHANTOM DANCER- attack speed critical strike and movement speed. Not much to say just gives heck loads of attack speed and the movement speed is key for jarvan (basic movement speed is only 315)
BLACK CLEAVER-attack speed, attack damage and reduces armour. Gives you the attack speed AND the passive helps a lot. you could swap this for a last whisper if there's a heavy armour team but ive found that i dont need to especially with my critical strikes.
INFINITY EDGE-Attack speed and damage, basic really great combination with phantom dancer enables you to get that 250% crits instead of 200%. Simples.
