Easy matchup as he has little to no mobility in lane, easy to catch with E and then squishy enough to burst even during early-mid game. Be careful to avoid the passive as they do a lot of damage, and make sure to ping often as he can roam extremely effectively.

Karthus

Tiny

Avoid his Q's or at least stay around minions to not take bonus damage from them. Easy to hit combo on him, but buy an early zhonia's to dodge his sneaky post-death ultimates

Azir

Tiny

His poke might be a little annoying in lane, but your damage scales better into late game, and his kit is very mana hungry. Azir might not be the champion he once was, but be careful, a skilled Azir player can still make you miss cs or push you under turret with a good shurima shuffle.

Lissandra

Tiny

Easy enough in lane, although she will be a pain during team fights with her ult. Try avoiding her poke in lane.

Ryze

Tiny

You have more damage and an actual stun instead of a snare, easy lane, but be careful with your trades as he will not run out of mana easily.

Jayce

Minor

He can stay back and poke you from out of range, difficult laning phase, but at least he doesn't have the potential to one shot in lane, as he would have to get closer for that. Buy zhonya's early.

Xerath

Minor

Same as Jayce for the poke, just stay back to avoid being ganked, try dodging his Q's and engage when he is low on mana

Lux

Even

Lux is harder to beat than xerath and Jayce as she not only has poke, but also long range burst potential. Play behind minions to avoid her Q, or you will most likely die post 6. She will be squishy though so if you can stun her, burst her down fast.

Ahri

Even

Ahri is an all round champ with damage, mobility, sustain and cc, so very hard to deal with. Play safe in lane and ask for ganks to kill her early.

Talon

Major

AD assassin, very high mobility and can 100-0 you before your stun comes up from out of the ground. Play safe, but try to poke him when he is farming, you might force him to back. If he gets ahead, play under turret and try to farm for late.

Syndra

Extreme

Just avoid this matchup if you can, she is very hard to beat as veigar, and will one shot you if she stuns you. Play nder safe and ask for ganks as her low mobility is easy to abuse.

Zed

Extreme

Counter matchup, he can dash away from inside your E if he wasn't stunned, burst you and poke you, all while not running out of mana (he has energy instead). Play under turret and rush zhonya's first item. You might also need guardian angel later in game, but buy some AP first. Either ask your jungler to camp your lane, or tell him to never gank mid and help a different lane instead, if you think you can survive mid alone. No use getting ganks if you are going to die anyway, let the jungler snowball bot or top lane. When he uses ult, place E on top of you (so you are on a wall) so he will get stunned when he lands. Proceed to burst if you can, otherwise, run to safety.
