Swain jungle? Wtf, that makes no sense. I could see decent gank potential with his pull but that's it. If you never landed a pull then his ganks would be useless

You say that swain uses mostly spells in the jungle, which makes sense since he is a mage, but then why do you start with hunters machete. Isn't it a much better idea to start with talisman for the mana regen and heals off of your spells?

Thank you for pointing that out ! The reason behind it is simple, I've forgotten to switch it out after updating the build. Thank you so much for your remark ! It shall be updated later on today, start with the talisman as of the new update to the guide.

Swain Jungle is an interesting idea. I hope to try it soon. I only think that phase rush may be better than summon aery as jungler, because aery is more for poke, wich isnt ideal as jungler. And phase rush would help swain's lack of mobility.

We have and to help us out with our mobility issues. There's no need for i feel it's overkill for no reason other than just being fast which isn't an issue since you can slow with your abilities while using this build.

Damn it actually works. dont expect too much kills but you can steadily shift the game into your team's favor as long as they dont feed, well even if they feed but they have the skills you can still heavily affect the win rate of your team in teamfights or even solo fights. Just make sure you always hit swain's E to root the ones at the back. A constant harass of W can be possible but try using it as an option to deter them from going back or even just making them a little bit slower in retreating.

Glad someone actually tried it and left some feedback. Yeah it does work you just have to know how to play the champion correctly and you need at least a half decent team composition. Swain can be a jungle meta pick if you can play him , he's just not popular at all in the jungle because most people say it's troll. Hope it works out for you. Jungle Swain needs some more love. Most people don't see it's strengths as I do.

Yes I'm sure it works as I've already played a couple matches in ranked. Not a great win rate on him yet but I don't get the chance to play him enough due to everyone banning him all the time. It's not troll , this is a legit guide and he is strong in the jungle in the right hands. Think of Swain as Tank Elise used to be back in the day or like a Gragas without the huge knock-back ultimate. He can be played tank if the team lacks one or as full damage if the team needs magic damage and top/mid are both AD.

I just tried him jungle and hes too weak to be a jungle champion. Takes too long to farm and you dont get heals from the monsters.

This is correct , as stated in the Pros/Cons of the champion , he has very weak damage early hence a slow first clear. This can however be better with a decent team that's willing to pull for you so you won't have to smite the first buff. Swain is indeed not a jungler , he is a mid/top laner, however he can be played as a jungler because I've done it and some few others have as well on the PBE.
He also has a decently strong mid-game for an off-meta jungle pick. I've had games where i went 7/0 early to mid-game,then finished off with a juicy 10/4. It's a decent AP/tank jungle pick if you need one.

I'm really looking forward to this Swain's new update, but do you really think that he will be a good jungler?

To be honest any champion can be a good jungler if the one playing said champion has the necessary amount of game knowledge and the mechanics to go with it. This being said , this champion's not good as a jungler unless you really know what you're doing due to him not having any life sustain in the jungle. So you depend on potions and red buff a lot.
I suggest playing a few normal games so you can get the hang of it, see how it feels , whether you like it or not. I've played him directly in ranked and I've done just fine without even having played the original Swain, not that it's needed since he's brand new now.

You're welcome! Be sure to check the newly updated runes , also keep a close eye on the guide as it's subject to change. I've played him a couple more games after I've made the guide and he seems extremely strong in the midgame with a decent blue buff pull early to stay healthy.
