the long awaited (maybe) review.

right off the bat it would be nice to include in the title that it's a jungling guide. your start to the guide also makes it sound like a top/jungle guide too. its a little misleading.

a lot of things were not explained as well. there's no mastery explanation, no detailed ability priority explanation, no alternate runes etc etc. the guide has a very clean overall feel. it flows well it kept my attention more so than many other guides i've read but the lack of information is the biggest shortcoming.

I'm a believer in avoiding GA at all costs. The item is expensive and provides decent stats but the passive can do just as much harm as good. with aatrox already possessing this passive it makes it much more viable to improve in other areas. more utility is the right path but if you go down in the middle of the enemy team that extra half life isn't really doing you any good.

there's also a good bit of explaining done for boots in the cheat sheet. I don't really agree with that either. boots are a huge investment to make on any champion and they do play a big role. especially when jungling one a rush budget. you need to know what and when to buy it. the enhancements could also be explained there as well. it just looks sloppy in the cheat sheet.

there's really not much more for me to say. this guide is clean and has very well used graphics and coding. aside from the flaws I pointed out I can't really think of anything else to talk about. good job

I have never played Jungle Aatrox but according to Elementz's last jungle tier list, he is one of the most balanced junglers. Feral Flare must have really increased his clearing speed and overall gold.

And as your guide came up first now in mobafire, it came to my attention and I wil try it out. I've had some success with Top Aatrox in season 3, but now he is feeling a little bit lacklaster in the current laning meta.

The guide itself looks great, I was amazed at the full Attack Speed rune set up. It actually makes a lot of sense. The build is also very interesting but I have a few questions:

1) is it the best to level up Blades of Torment instead of Blood Price while jungling? I guess this is for ganking purposes but the cooldown reduction difference from leveling it is only 4 seconds. Also, as you are not building heavy AD items you would only be using mostly the base damage from it.

2) since there is an alternative non-damage build, how does Aatrox fare as a meat shield? He's not designed to act like a tank even though he is a good initiator. So would you consider he can be picked if your team is lacking a pure tank? In this case, would you change your runes set up?

Anyway here's my upvote for a very original build and well written guide. Keep it up!

Question 1: Both are good, Blades of Torment is typically more reliable damage while chasing people or being kited. This is why I have E max first as the cheat sheet. W max is better if you're not really ganking. Aatrox clears fast either way, but is definitely faster with W max. Depends on the context.

Question 2: If Aatrox is allowed to auto attack something, he actually can tank an absurd amount of damage with his Blood Thirst. He doesn't exactly need a lot of AD to deal a lot of damage, as his base values, especially on his W are very high. This is why AS is preferred.

Thank you for enjoying the guide. :D

Guide updated. Last Whisper and Frozen Mallet have been removed by request and replaced with Ravenous Hydra and Wit's End.

I like the look of this. Played a lot of Aatrox as a top-laner. Definitely branch out into the jungle with him :)

I changed the rune page to something I saw theOddOne use. I tested it myself and it's pretty crazy. What do you guys think?

Mistake in the jungling section:
Quoted:
Try to make every gank counter to get further stacks on your Wriggle's Lantern.

CAPTAIN PEDANTIC: AWAAAYYY!!!
