Many of you might think I am trolling, but I am realy serious to play Sona as AD carry. Why? Because of her passive - power cord and her Q skill. In early game her damage output is quite mad, comparing to other AD champs, in mid game you might feel a little bit weak, but in late game AD Sona becomes realy crazy, practically oneshoting squishy champs like Cait or Kog'Maw. So, let me introduce my build for AD Sona.

For runes I take flat AD marks and Quintessences. This gives a nice burst damage in the begining, it is also to take armor penetration marks. I take flat armor seals, and flat magic resist per level glyphs. These runes give you good burst damage and also let you survive early game.

My masteries are 21/0/9, nice damage, increased move speed and buff duration. Nothing more to say

For summoner spells I prefer flash and exaust if I am on line with Soraka.
Either way I take flash and heal

Pros:
+ Great Damage
+ Damage inreasing aura
+ Nice Move Speed
+ Slow from E power cord, Damage reduction from W power cord
+ Awesome ult to kill and escape
+ Nice abilities cooldown

Cons:
- Squishy
- Relies on mana hard
- Has weak self heal
- You should always think what cord to use and think fast
- Skillshots might hit minion in the very worst moment

AD Sona is nice type of champ. She damages realy hard, but needs very good micro and safe play. Also the best way to play AD Sona is with support Soraka.
