Introduction


Hello, summoners I am cakiens and this is my guide to playing the best adc. I currently have 100,000 mastery points on teemo and would definitely say that he is the most fun character no matter what role you play him in. whether it's killing someone you haven't seen for 3 minutes because of a shroom or shredding people down with Kraken slayer, I have always had a great time playing teemo and I think you will too.

this is your go to mythic 99.999~% of the time.
teemo has been brought back to his former glory of pre mythic days with rage blade now giving ap and allowing him to consistantly do his on hit passive damage which makes him into a auto attack based champ instead of the missmash of stuff that he was previously. Even though I will act like this item is the second coming of christ I believe that it should be built second because of the next item.


you need this to survive in lane early and with it being so cheap its a perfect fit. it allows you to win many early ganks which the enemy junglers love in this matchup as well as cs safer
Runes



Dark harvest allows you to stay viable into the late game, your poison and shrooms allows you to stack very easily and will allow you to deal about 150 extra damage by 20 minutes if your playing aggressive enough. For some loosing match ups your probably going to be on the lower end, about 70 damage with it.


Taste of blood gives you an extra bit of healing which allows you to take trades even better than teemo already does.


Eyeball collection isn't really that important but it's the best of the 3 runes you have to pick from in this section, the extra damage is nice but not super impact.


Ravenous hunter is a godsend, you just heal so damn much once you get all 5 stacks. just auto-attack like 4 minions and you'll be back to full health.
Abilities




Your passive is not really useful in many situations. I would say just use it for some funny stuff like hiding in the enemy bush and popping out when they push far up. At lest from my experience this ability has not seriously helped me when I'm playing teemo adc.




This ability is your bread and butter for the bottom lane. Using this effectively will allow you to take trades with the enemy laner almost untouched. If the enemy support has any kind of hard cc then you should try to pop this ability on the enemy adc early to be sure that you don't just get hit with cc and die. This is not completely a get out of jail free card but if you can burst your enemy down in the time that your blind is on them then it will be the best tool in your kit.




This ability is the only gap closer that you have in your kit. I like to get an extra level on this just after I finish maxing my e because it allows me to catch up to any engages my supp is making and it allows me to take my own engages and escape engages just slightly faster which I think is better than a little bit of extra damage on q at level 10. The main use of this ability is to engage, chase, and run away from the enemies. Its a very boring ability but it gets a lot done. Teemo has a shorter range than most of the adcs and this ability will allow you to get into your range and out of the enemies range faster.




This ability is your main source of damage in the bottom lane. The part of this ability that matters much more to a teemo adc is the on hit damage. This on hit damage in combination with some attack speed and a guinsoo's rageblade will deal a unbelievable amount of damage and assuming that you also have a kraken slayer as well you will be able to 3-5 shot the enemy adc. In the early game this ability will allow you to take trades quite effectively if you use it in combination with your q. the on hit damage in combination with the extra poison damage will deal much more damage than the enemies will expect from you often catching the enemies off gaurd getting you some cheeky kills.



As an adc teem your shrooms wont be as annoying as usual which I recommend that you should use all of your shrooms as either closing off gang points or for vision in enemy bushes. The best part of the shroom for you is the massive slow so putting it in a enemy bush will not just give you vision of enemies hiding in it but it will also give you a trap to catch fleeing enemies possibly getting you a kill. A technique I also like to use is to throw the shroom into the wave of minions and if the enemies are dumb then they will get hit with the slow when they they get its the perfect time to engage on the enemies and pick up a kill.
Laning Phase
During the laning phase your going to want to play it safe. It they try to engage you just q the adc and use your best judgement to see if you should fight them or use your w to run away. You should be considering things like who is my support, who is the enemy support, who is the enemy adc and can they slaughter me with their abilities, and finally consider both your summoner spells and your enemies summoner spells. Teemo can be a beast if you know how to properly pick your fights. When going all in you should place a shroom where you think the enemies will go to. You can wall off areas and prevent enemies from walking in certain places with your shrooms which makes it very easy for a hook support so grab those confined enemies and have a field day with them. If they choose to walk into the shroom you basically get a free kill but this is highly dependant on who each support is. lets say you have a Leona and she misses her e but the enemies walk into a shroom, she is still able to walk up and q them because of the massive slow they get but if the enemy support is a hook champ then its probably going to turn into a 1v1 between you and the enemy adc which in most cases results in a win. for most of these reasons I really don't think a supp like Yuumi is good for you in the early game since she cant capitalise on all of your kit. Once you get mythic your life will turn upside down, suddenly your doing a million damage and all the enemies are dead, mythic makes you cracked. after mythic you should be able to do some serious damage to tower by pushing wave hard, since your Teemo you should be fine to push as long as you have your shrooms place in proper position to catch out any potential ganks.

For bad matchups you really want to try and use all your support has to win for example when fighting a blitz or a naut you are going to want to try and let you support either poke or find engages for you as it is to dangerous to do those things yourself since you are exteamly weak and can get your *** outranged extreamly easily.


Just under this you will see what I consider to be the best shroom placements for bot lane although for the ones in river feel free to mix them up if the enemies catch on.
