Introduction

Hey Guys, this is my first Guide on Mobafire, Im a bit afraid but who isnt in the Dark?
So this is another Nocturne Jungle Guide here on Mobafire but i want to share you my thoughts on him.

Everybody knows him, ofc, but when you here "Darkness..." and the screen is black, arent you like "Oh ****, oh **** ..." ?

This Guide will help you that the enemy team will **** their pants.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- short Fear
- good damage output even without IE/BT
- great ganking abilities lvl 6+
- great chaser if you hit your Q
- nice spellshiel with AS passive
- Vision block with R

Cons:
- not the best pre 6 ganker
- not the easiest jungler
- Q is kinda hard to land at max range
- E is avoidable

Summoner Spells

I use Flash on nearly every Champion I play its a must have in current Meta.

You are a Jungler you NEED Smite!
No exceptions.

Other possibilities

Its okey for chasing people but Flash > Ghost imo

Rest is useless as Jungle Nocturne.

Masteries

Offense 16
Deadliness 3/3 increase your Crit chance by 2%
Plentiful Bounty gain 5 more Gold when used and reduce the CD by 5 sec
Alacrity increase your Attack Rate by 4%
Sunder increase your Armor Penetration by 6
Offensive Mastery increase your damage dealt to minions by 4
Brute Force increase your Attack Damage by 3

Defense 3
Hardiness increase your armor by 6

Utility 11
Good Hands reduce death time by 3.33%
Perseverence increase your total health and mana regeneration by 4%
Awareness increase Exp gain by 5%
Greed generates 1 gold per 10seconds
Utility Mastery increase buff duration by 30%

I like to Jungle with these Mastery Setup
You get the AD and ArP from Offense, some Armor for saver jungle and the increased buff duration from Utility, also Greed synergies good with Heart of Gold and Avaric Blade I use with this build.

Runes

That is my prefered Rune Setup for Jungle Nocturne, there may be other Setups but I like them that way.

Marks:
4 Greater Marks of Alacrity
5 Greater Marks of Desolation

I think that are solid Marks for Nocturne.
The AS Marks help to proc your Passive more often and the Desolation Marks helps, ofc, to reduce your Enemys Armor, combined with Masterys and Quints that make 24,29 Armor Penetration.

Seals:
9 Greater Marks of Resilence
13 Armor+ at start of the game, take less damage from creeps.

Glyphs:
9 Greater Marks of Shielding
Helps against those nasty Annie's in mid-late game.

Quints:
3 Greater Quintessence of Desolation
9.99 Armor Penetration via Quints, thats nice to have.

Skill Sequence

First 4 levels always should be Q > W > Q > E
And then R > Q > E > W
Why you may ask?
Ult everytime ofcourse, longer range shorter CD more damage.
Q right afterwards for more AD while you are on the Trail.
Now the thing with E and W.
I take max E before W just because of longer Fear duration and a shorter CD.
20% AS at lvl 2 is enough till level 14 imo.

Creeping / Jungling

I use Stonwalls Jungle Route.
Its easier for Nocturne.
For those who dont know this Route heres a Picture
Start with Vampiric Scepter
Go to Wolves. DONT USE SMITE YET!
Notes: First Q then AA for extra damaga on Passive

Go to Wraiths smite the Big Blue Wraith use Q one the 3 little ones and skill W.
Note: You will level up after you Smited the Big Wraith so try so Smite + Q the little ones and Skill W as fast as possible.

Go to Double Golems, its tricky there because if you get ganked you are most likely dead.
You get really low on HP here on both trips so be carefull.

Go back, buy Cloth Armor and a HP pot.

Do the normal jungle route.
